The interior of Houses can symbolise our inner life, our thoughts, emotions etc. We perceive the world through windows so if they are shattered, it distorts our view of the world & life. He elements can also come in & cause further damage. |

I'm always having dreams in decaying/rundown homes. Usually the rooms are in color and more often than not, there is a really red room (like a room one would develop photos in). Windows are shattered, dry-wall is missing, exposed framework, mildewed wallpaper. What does this mean?? It's not always the same house, but the houses are always falling apart. |

Oh yes, absolutely. I've just been through a really hard breakup with someone I really loved. Everything was great, we never argued, we never even disagreed, we were very open and close with each other. Then one day he just disappeared. Stopped calling, texting, blocked me on all social media. It was so sudden and unexpected that I didn't know how to take it. I didn't get any closure. I was having dreams like this before him too. Letting go of things from my past, especially hurtful things, has always been hard for me. |

I tend to agree with firewater. My take is that you are the house and you are feeling run down and neglected to put it simply. You have to take care of yourself. Best of luck. |

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you so much for your advice and input |

Thanks for the feedback. Something that may help is when you have these dreams think about fixing up the house & try working on it in your dream. |
