Thread: Woman with a penis

Background: I'm a woman in my mid-forties, married, two tween/teen kids. I have stayed at home with the kids for years, but am now in grad school working on a doctorate degree. It's stressful, I have doubts about embarking on a new career after staying home for so long, and I often feel like a fraud. Also, my marriage is stressful in many ways...though I love my husband. I have lots of family of origin issues, including a father who left my mother and me when I was 3, and took my two older brothers with him. I grew up with a lot of instability. I am trying to work through a lot of anger (for both my parents) with a male psychologist, and it has started bringing heavy emotions to the surface. The paternal transference is strong with him, but not sure that necessarily applies to this dream. I am having many crazy dreams, though, and several have involved him. Anyway.... here is last night's:

I was standing naked in my shower, behind the frosted glass door. There were a lot of people in my bathroom, which had somehow grown in size. My body looked like a much younger body from my 20’s, definitely female, but I had a penis. I was also aware that there was a contest of sorts going on, on the other side of the shower door. I knew my penis looked small-ish in the flaccid state, and knew that if I was able to achieve an erection that it might be favorable for me in the contest. But it was then time for me to emerge from the shower to be judged. There was one main judge who was sort of the master of ceremonies- a woman, very matronly and older, non-smiling, very stern. I stood tall before her, and I felt like I was in a dog show. She circled me a few times, looking me up and down. She would occasionally voice her comments loudly to the other judges and the spectators. She began poking and prodding me, methodically, non-sexually. Inspecting my ears, my hair, my feet. She squeezed me here and there, and even put her mouth on parts of me (again, non-sexually). She was commenting loudly, through a microphone to the others. I think I had a number, but not sure what my number was. I was told to walk, and then I was watched walking. Again, the comments. I willed myself to become erect, because I was sure it would win me points with the judges. I was not able to do this, however. The dream ended here.

What on earth was this about?
