Question Befriending a demon and helping it become good - STILL THINKING ABOUT THIS AFTER OVER A MONTH

Hello! For the past few months I've been having recurring dreams about befriending demons, but the dream itself is always different.
However, this one is very different. Usually these dreams fade and I'm unable to remember anything about it. But not this one.
After about a month I'm still able to recall details about this dream and what happened in it. I'm still thinking about this dream and reflecting on it.

I currently live in North Yorkshire, England at 16 years of age. I am a male.
Currently, there are no issues in my life that I know of. I've had a massive phobia of demons and darkness since I was ten years old.

This dream started off in a quite large building, where we were having a look at a room. I don't remember exactly who the other people were, neither do I think I knew them outside of the dream, but I think they were family members. I was able to see this demon, but others weren't. It had a humanoid figure, but was purely cold flesh and blood: the type you'd see in video games or movies. For some reason, I thought the way it looked and the way it moved around was funny, and I laughed at it, which I know I would not have done in this situation because I had a massive phobia of demons. I was able to communicate with this demon, even though others weren't. I don't remember exactly what happened in the conversation, but I did talk to it. After talking to it and getting close to it for a while it started to look human. Turns out, it was a recently deceased friend of a relative (neither of which I knew to exist in the real world), and had absolutely no control over its actions while it was totally bad. Eventually, this demon actually looked pretty handsome, and like a human. It was no longer ugly cold flesh and blood. He was a great guy. However, that's when I woke up. That was it.

I do believe that behind every dream, is a meaning. Especially one that can't simply be forgotten.
Does anybody know what this could mean? I've looked this up myself but couldn't find anything, which was why I went to make my own thread.

Perhaps this dream is telling you that you need to integrate some idea, emotion, or instinct which you consider evil or bad. In psychology that group of things which the ego shuns but still require expression is called the shadow. The problem is not in these emotions or instincts in themselves, but in the individuals inability to accept them as being part of himself. Even negative things like 'hate' or 'anger' are not wholly bad, they represent store houses of energy which if accepted and integrated can be controlled and then used for beneficial purposes.

"At last all your passions have become virtues and all your devils angels.
Once you had fierce dogs in you cellar: but they changed at last into birds and sweet singers.
From your poison you brewed your balsam: you milked your cow, affliction, now you drink the sweet milk of her udder.
And henceforward nothing evil shall come out of you, except it be the evil that comes from the conflict of your virtues." - Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Friedrich Nietzsche
"Parable.- Those thinkers in whom all stars move in cyclic orbits are not the most profound: whoever looks into himself as into vast space and carries galaxies in himself also knows how irregular all galaxies are; they lead into the chaos and labyrinth of existence."- Friedrich Nietzsche, the gay science, First published in 1882 revised in 1887, translated by Walter Kaufmann [/SIGPIC]

      Lightbulb Fear vs Friendly

Yes maybe that idea is fear. And of what?
Did anything happen at 10? But it might just be that age of self development, or self-consciousness, starting.

      THE FEAR
The fact you didn't know the people, yet were family in the dream, might say you want to be as comfortable and close with people you don't know as with family.
And that your fear was cold fits this, which may have surfaced at age 10.
You laughing at it probably means you want to gain control over it, change it. You see through it and doesn't have to hold power over you.
And that you communicated also could be the hint, if it's about doing that better, if you have a social fear. And as others couldn't talk to it.

      CHANGING IT
After talking and getting close, your fear looks human. I think the conversation was about conversation.
Turns out, it seems, your demon was relating to people or being a friend which had died, or was not alive. They don't exist in the real world.
Because this dark side of you (you fear the darkness within) had no control while it was bad, which sounds like depression, when that gets bad. Or when fear does. Though you said you have no issues, so it might just be the normal amount or bit more.
You saw that eventually you could look good in this area, feel more human rather than flesh and blood without a soul I suppose - which could describe feeling so low - without the ugly horror, be a great guy. That is your dream you woke up to, to make that reality.

      RECENT CHANGE
So the past few months you've been having recurring dreams about befriending demons must be you thinking about making your fear friendly, in this sense, by overcoming it.
But this dream didn't fade maybe due to meaning it more, or now you're 16, and really want to change this.
Maybe you can you trace your thought or experience a month ago that made that happen.

      But is this right?
