Thread: Dreamed of friend accidentally dying in front of me.

Okay this dream took place over a period of a few days. I’m going to leave out the irrelevant stuff and just talk about what turned my mundane dream about hanging with friends into a nightmare. Here it is:

My friend Phoebe and I were driving around the island and stopped at a tree that we had climbed previous times throughout the dream. Before, when we’d climb the tree and we’re each sitting on a branch talking, a meteor or something would fall from the sky, close to Phoebe and she would almost fall, then start laughing (she would be hanging with her arms and legs wrapped around the branch, kinda hanging upside down.) We did this about 3 different times throughout the dream, with the exact same outcome (Phoebe hanging and laughing) but we were always surprised by the thing falling from the sky as if it was the first time it happened. (This didn’t occur to me as odd until I woke up). The last time, however, the flaming rock was much bigger and it came really close to hitting Phoebe and she almost fell, hanging like before and laughing. After she stopped laughing, she slipped and fell about 10 feet with a loud thump. I jumped down to see if she was okay and she was smiling but couldn’t move. Then, the dream jumps to cops at the location and I’m trying to explain what happened but they aren’t listening, just trying to calm me. Phoebes dead. Dream jumps to me with 2 other friends at the tree explaining what happened to Phoebe. Then I see a flash of light from my left and look over and it’s a guy high up in the apartment building throwing flaming rocks, this time looking more like fireworks zooming through the air, trying to hit us. I start running away and have flashes of news clips about riots and stuff and when I look back both of my friends are killed in a big explosion. I run faster and end up on an over pass and I look below me and see a huge group of people walking in the streets wearing all read with blank faces. Theyre heading toward me, and there’s no where to run. I know I’m going to die and I wake up. Is there anyway to interpret this or is it just too random? It really bothered me and came out of nowhere.
