Woah Hoah this is pretty sweet

In my dream, i had just had a false awakening. I awoke in my bed, still dark. I sat up and checked my digital clock to see how much time i had left before my alarm went off. As was my custom of those days, i looked at the clock, closed my eyes, and looked at it again. It was my way of reality checking quickly. The number on the clock didn't change so i felt i wasn't sleeping. I tried to get back to sleep but then realized i was dreaming.

The number on the digital clock was just '6' in the middle of the dial. No other numbers or anything. I sat back up and looked at the clock again, the number had changed from green to red. The '6' slid over and starting spinning like a slot machine, the two other spaces on the digital clock did likewise. The first stop, then the second, then the third. The digital clock now read '666' in bright, large, red, numbers.

At this time, the mirror i have on my door seemed to illuminate just a little from the upper corner. i looked deeply into the mirror and saw a red spec glowing in the darkness. I seemed to come nearer, and as it did, i recognized them as eyes. soon they came up to the mirror and stepped through it. As it did, the eyes turned blue and i could recognize the figure: it was a depiction of the Virgin Mary holding young Jesus in her arms.

She walked up to my bed and held the baby down near my face and allowed him to play with my nose, lips, hair, etc. I looked up at Mary's face, it looked just as one would expect.
I looked back down at the formerly cute baby's face. the eyes turned red, each looked a different way. One of his lips were hanging down. His mouth was open revealing a crooked, disgusting smile. As soon as i realized the transformation, its hand stop playing with my nose and gouged into my right eye. then i woke up

any ideas. i thought it was kind of exciting.
please dont pull any religious crap translation on me about me going to hell or anything, i am far too religiously educated to believe anything you say in that category.

"Religion is no longer what you expect it to be" is the only thought that came to my mind. Maybe just re-evaluate religion and the role it plays in your life, like an annual review.

Definitely glad I came upon this. I agree with both comments.

Geez, that would probably freak me out. I am sometimes scared to leave doors open at night, although I am not afraid of the dark.

One time I looked at my clock and instead of numbers it showed little red symbols like cars, moons, etc., which changed into one another. I am not sure if it was a FA or just me in a fuzzy state of being awake.

Okay, first off, I'm an atheist, so, my interpretation MIGHT not be what you're looking for. But, I'll have a crack at it anyway.

Well, the interpretation of this depends. IF you're a religious person, and if you believe in the devil, whatever, THEN the number 666 might indicate some sort of anxiety or fear. Even if you don't put stick in the whole "number of the beast" thing, it's pretty prevalent in pop culture, and so its presence in your dream might still carry that meaning of anxiety, etc.

This is interesting. Again, I'm an atheist, so it's kind of tricky for me to interpret this sort of stuff, but I'll try anyway. Now, the Virgin Mary and the Baby Jesus, I'm guessing, represent your religion (I'm assuming, by now, you're religious, a Catholic, I don't know...) and the way the baby and the virgin are, at first, playing with you, etc, perhaps indicates that at this stage, you're at peace with your faith, and comfortable with it.

I looked back down at the formerly cute baby's face. the eyes turned red, each looked a different way. One of his lips were hanging down. Perhaps this indicates that you see something crooked behind your faith, or are unhappy with it in some way? Your faith is literally attacking you, and appears grotesque?

My overall interpretaion is that while, on the whole, you are comfortable with your faith (again, I assume you are religious), there are some things, hidden behind appearances, that you are uncomforatble with, and perhaps don't sit very well with you? A lurking anxiety... I'm not exactly sure...

I don't think I've been much help here, but I thought I'd take a crack at it anyway.
But hey, even though I'm not religious, this was an interesting dream, thanks for sharing.

How do you get such fun dreams?

Wow, all I know is that there was a lot of deception in the dream... I have to admit that I am biased, being a believer in Christ.

I'm not that big into Christian numerology or symbology... but

6 is: Man under the curse of sin, time.
Green is: life; renewal; growth; teaching
      Red: war, bloodshed, death

      demons WERE angels to start...
