Thread: Being chased by a killer with a chainsaw

probably just sheer terror. everyone has some phobia that is manefested in dreams. i am a cop, and my biggest fear in real life is looking for a bad guy in the dark where he knows exactly where i am and is aiming right at me, but i have no idea where he is. that constantly manefests itself in my dreams. maybe the chainsaw man has some significance in his life, like maybe he saw texas chainsaw massicure at a young age. i had a roomate once who saw that abduction movie fire in the sky when he was like 2 or 3. and he had abduction dreams his whole life.

A few days ago he dreamt that he slipped and fell, but didn't get back up. He just gave up running. The killer ran up to him and gorged him. He felt no pain, just the jerking motion of the chainsaw cutting him up.

I know chase dreams are about anxiety and situations that one tries to avoid throughout life. We don't know what a chainsaw would represent, that particular symbol.

Not terror. I used to get alot of nightmares where i'd be chased and my legs would just stop working. I'd try to move them but the wouldn't budge. Maybe this was the case, idunno.

I can relate to this, i was being chased by a tiger and i would be running to where my parents were and i just froze and couldn't move.
