It’s night. I am wandering by the local mall in my town. I stroll into the parking lot and where there is a supermarket in real life – there is now some sort of bar slash/hangout filled with people. As I walk in, I’m sized up by a couple of guys with baseball bats. They’re dressed like gang members in 80’s blue jeans and denim. They don’t hassle me though as I look around.

The décor is wood paneling with amber lighting. Over the bar “Raiders of the Lost Ark” is being projected. However the projector is superimposing this webbing or cracks all along the edge of the film. I or someone else (Not quite sure) comments that this is like watching the film through the eyes of Sauron. Two movie references in one dream!

I try to talk to a few girls and they seemed friendly enough. I can’t seem to remember anything that was said or other specifics.

Suddenly, I’m alone. I’m now in a kitchen that has the same wood paneling and amber lighting as the bar. I have a feeling that I’m here to rob the place for some reason. The owner a slightly overweight older woman enters through a door left of me. There is a table with a set of strange knives. We each grab one. The knives are gray and not very large or intimidating, but the blade is shaped oddly. Similar to a Ghurka with a forward bent to the blade, but less pronounced and much smaller.

The woman tells me that some of the knives aren’t real. She asks me if I would risk a fight with a fake one. I grab another knife from the table and proclaim that my odds of possessing a real one have now doubled. She relents and suddenly her wallet is in my hands containing a few tens and twenties. I then rush out the door.

Now in real life I would be across town, but now I’m up the street from my house looking at an old shortcut I used to take all the time as a kid. I want to use it to facilitate my escape however it has been recently blocked off with a gray stone wall that has spikes along the top. It isn’t very high, so I climb up and avoid the spikes which are not very large. They are more decorative than functional.

Once on top I now see that I’m in a large chamber made of stone that is the same shade of amber as the bar. Inside the chamber, the wall I’m now standing on top of, turns out to be part of a labyrinth. The before mentioned spikes are simply decorative modules in groups of four shaped like a square. They line all the walls of the labyrinth, but I can pick them up and move them out of the way. I make my way across the maze by simply walking on top of the walls.

When I reach the end, I jump down and there is some sort of market. On the ground next to me is a big clear plastic bag filled with cotton with a logo featuring a devil on it. I take the bag and as I go to leave a girl stops me. She says that she packed the bag and wants to be sure nobody took anything from it. As she opens it up, it’s full of candy packed between the cotton.

She gives the bag back, and tells me that whoever gets the bag wins a date with her. I then ask her out and she says that she needs to make time as she is in a punk band with the acronym P.I.L or P.R.L. (Can’t remember exactly) She smiles at me and I notice that she has a large red tooth.

Then my alarm went off.

What’s really bugging me is the acronyms the girl tells me at the end. I googled both terms with “Punk” and one is indeed a Punk Band (No Girls though) and the other is … I guess a Punk festival in Warsaw. (Site’s in polish). Now I know next to nothing about punk music so unless I heard those acronyms somewhere subliminally?

Just work out what the real life devil is and what the source of temptation is. Its refering to some real life dilemma either about you or about someone being lured by the devil within them

So a snake for example symbolises something bad and in the context of a dream analysis will generally point to some problem or trap either that you nearly fell into yesterday or that you worry about in the near future. But either way there are not that many problems and traps and difficult situations from yesterday. Usually you will be able to highlight one thing.
So try to look at dreams simply. A good dream will show your happy state of mind and so thats really not that difficult to trace.

You didn't read my post at all. You just made a half-ass interpretation by the title alone, and you didn't even read the title correctly.

Haha I was thinking that Vtek was a moron for jumping on unclesirbob like that, then I read the first 2 posts and it's obvious that he didn't even read the first post (although before I criticise him I'll say it is possible that he just misunderstood). I'm not sure how to interpret this but I'll just say that the abbreviation for the band was probably just something your mind made up. I'm sure there are some polish speaking people on the forum so maybe have them check it out. The dream just seems pretty random and it is easiest for you to interpret it because you know best about your life.

Thanks, it does seem pretty random dosen't it? I'm puzzled about what the whole deal with the knives is suppossed to represent. I'm at a total loss to explain it.

Could you maybe throw some generic interpretaions at me? I'm sure our brains can't be wired too differently, seeing as we share the same lanquage/culture. If I knew what some generic symbols are suppossed to represent I could go from there.

OK I'll go through part by part and tell you what I think.

Bar, movies and girls- just your mind setting up a situation, not really anything important here I think.

The knives- maybe something about you not always being sure about your choices in real life so you look for ways to be sure that there are the best odds that you will succeed (for example, you ask someone what homework you had in a class that you missed and then you ask other people too to make sure that you know what you missed). Also you use logic in saying that your chances are now doubled.

The shortcut- You can get around obstacles even though they arey look like they may be hard (spikes) and ones that might make others turn away.

New scene- uses some things from old scene to create no scene

Bag with devil- could be that you saw a devil logo somewhere in real life and thats why it was in your dream.

Cotton and candy- they could mean nothing and you mind just put cotton because its easy and then when you looked in the bag it created candy because thats one thing you might expect in a bag (like on Halloween, that could explain the devil).

The girl- maybe you thought that you wouldnt be able to get her so in your dream she makes an excuse about being in a band.
