Thread: pinching

This just seems like a dream sign.

Do you usually have the same dream-content around pinching yourself? Elaborate?

i'm usually dreaming about being healthy (been under the weather for a few years), out of pain, or having some really great experience with someone i love. then i think, "wait, this can't be real" and i pinch myself to see if i'm dreaming, and i can always feel it. Si i am overcome with happiness that what is happening is real. But then i wake up.

Are you saying you have not been happy lately? If so, how come?

What in your dreams makes you happy? In other words, what is it that you are wanting different in your life at the time?

Where did you first learn about pinching yourself in order to determine whether or not you are in reality?

I have not been happy... Because I have been very sick for alot of years, and also because I'm trying to deal with severe abuse that happened when I was younger. When I am happy in my dreams, it's either because I'm healthy and doing something I love to do, or because someone in my dream loves me and I can feel it, which i don't really have in real life. I think I must've learned about the pinching thing as a kid... I don't know, I think it's kind of a cliche in movies. It obviously doesn't work, though.

I'm curious as to what this sickness is that has been plaguing you?
Would you mind me asking you to elaborate on the abuse you received..?
Do you have a romantic interest at the time by chance..? At all..?
