How to recognize the dream language?

I have gathered a collection of one years with dreams now. But i have a problem with figuring out my dream alphabet. I see the dreams but not the meanings. I could refer to dream interpetations sites and books but it would still not be my dream language.
How does you feel when you know the meaning. Is it like a "eureka" or just the first thing that pops to your mind about the dream? I think i know the meaning behind some of my dreams, but i wonder how others recognize theyr dream language?

Dream language and "text" in dreams are solely symbolic. Since there is little to no activity in language articulation, it is simply the emphasis of the word and the meaning of it.

Rarely will you probably come across words in dreams that are not nouns since prefixes and adjectives do not really have any profound emphasis. A phrase may be interpreted, but it is still the essential meaning behind it, what it means to the individual dreaming of the sentence.

The specific letters and words are all still just the same as modern language, there is no convoluted language comprehension throughout dreaming. In fact, it's even simpler; it's just what it makes you feel and think. It seems to be more or less the projection from memory what the words mean, since your memory (hippocampus and selective cerebral area) is active. Basically, think about how you recognise words; you see text and your memory picks up on what it means from what you were taught. Well, reverse this with your memory projecting symbols of what certain things mean, etc. Hope that makes sense.

      Hope I've been enlightening.

Oh my! Sorry i used the wrong words to ask the question hehe
Trying to translate from norwegian to english isnt always that obvious when talking in symbolz.
What you said really made sense, and i have also wondered about that some time now. So thanks!

What i really wanted to ask for was the symobilizing nature of dreams. If i lets say see a car in a dream, how do i know if i know what the meaning behind the car is?

You know, I think many dreams are just.. dreams. Just random images. I do believe that some have deep meaning, but certainly not every one. Maybe reoccuring dreams. If you dream about a car, most likely that's just because you're thinking about buying one, thinking about the one you own, thinking about one you saw, etc. Many times, what we dream directly correlates with what we think about during waking hours.

Offcourse they are. But even these random images work as methapors of how you are. Even if those maybe arnt that important, i have to see after i know the understandig of a dream. So if i dream about a car i really want to know why i did it, to understand more of myself and whats going on on a deeper level of my thinking self.
Its strange, to try to know one self could be a so big task. Like it shouldt be enough to know every other thing here i the world.
