      Dream recall as a muscle

I think that dream recall is similiar to a muscle. You train and train it to be the best it can be. I worked on recall and lucid dreaming throughout the fall and i was fairly successful, but once midterms came up I didn't have time to wild or write in my dream journal. But I've found that even though I don't write them down, i remember them throughout the day (though I never remember them any longer) I hadn't written down a dream since the end of November. I had a lucid dream last night but I cant remember for the life of me what it was about. I think thatnothing can replace recording dreams, but I'm suprised my recall lasted so long. Id love to hear your thoughts on this

Yeah. You slowly build recall, until eventually you reach your peak. I had 6 dreams last night, and it took me a week or so to get there from 1-0 dreams per night, that I have when I don't try to dream. I think even if you don't try to dream for a while, when you do try again it is easier for you to pick up where you left off. I consider myself to have (by my standards) good dream recall.
It is fairly easy to forget about dreaming when you become busy.

That's a sad quote that rings all too true. How horrible it is that so many people can forego their dreams in favour of stress and hardship.

That's why I love DreamViews; it makes me happy to know there are people out there that still have that sparkle in their eye.

Edit: Ps. I see we have similar tastes in usernames!
