Is it possible to have no dream sign? I think I may not have one.

My problem is not dream recal, its finding my dream sign. (I think, for a novice, that I have fairly nice dream recal) I have been recording my dreams (usually four per night) for the last half month. And for the life of me, I can't seem to find one constant factor that could be a dream sign.
No symbolic item, no constant person, nothing.
Ocassionally I will have dreams that I'm flying, but I see that more as the dream plot, not a sign.
I have induced a lucid dream before by doing a reality check out of habit, but I can't find my dream sign.
So what I'm trying to ask is, Is it possible for a person not to have a dream sign?

I dnt think a dream sign is tied to a person. A dream sign would just be something u see as out of the ordinary. When u say u were flying, u saw it as the dream plot but it was still a dream sign. It doesnt have to be a specific item or person. Just everday things that don't happen the way everyday things should happen.

yea u really don't need a dream sign you just gotta be aware thats all if u see something out of the ordinary

If you want help finding your dream signs you could post a dj here and ask people to look through it for dream signs. Anything you encounter frequently in your dreams can be a dream sign. Dogs is one for me - so is Main Street. I see lots of dogs in waking life, and I'm on Main Street a lot, so these are both good dream signs if I remember to RC every time I encounter them. Also my family and friends (some of whom are dead). It's kinda hard to go pinching my nose though every time I talk to my sister or somebody.

If you fly a lot in dreams then that's a dream soign, though if you ever find yourself flying you can already be sure it's a dream!! No need to RC for that one really..

You could always use your dream plots as your dream signs

I often find myself driving a car during dreams, but I'm too young to drive in waking life. So I use that as a dream sign.

Same here , I had a dream sign but now it's gone.
When I discovered the dream sign , it didn't occured anymore in my dreams.

I've had a lot of succes with DILDs, and I've never had a dream sign. DILD is about awareness. Dream signs are merely a way of becoming more aware.

Flying is a definite dream sign. Anything that you can't normally do in waking life, that you find yourself doing often in dreams, is a dream sign.

I looked closer at my dreams and realised, that in many of my dreams a subway appears. Maybe because I take the subway everyday to my school. I think dreamssigns arent necessary, but its interesting if you find some, and try to analyse why u have them.

When I was younger without a license, driving a car in my dreams was definitely a dreamssign for me. And every time I drove a car there would be problems with the gas pedal.
