It may be strange, but the most common thing is my brother. In life I see him rarely (1-2 times per year), but in dreams he appears almost every night in different situations and places. |

My current ones: |

I get this too, really frustrating.. |

I haven't had an LD but I recall points that are in most of my dreams |

Running late to work or school |

The ability to transfer my soul to the closest living body upon my own death or just being in a strangers body from the start, albino animals (they are always so stuck on consuming things like people and the world :/ ), shopping centers or complexes, weird variations in the land that are obvious like having a video game layout, chasing or being chased, dream guide dude that I've never met in real life at all, still somehow helps in dream quests ( he has a persistence in wearing other peoples skins as well but always has black on him somewhere or around him is all so terrible at keeping the skin disguises up ) |
|
In almost every dream I have, a female family member of mine is also in it. |
|
Fighting, sex/hot girls. That's all I've got, but often it's just a feeling. Somehow a switch flips and I just know I'm dreaming.. |
|
I just get the feeling too now. Like a switch and I just know. In the beginning when it first started I used other techniques. |

I put mine up earlier, classical ones with some personal things, but now I have something quite bizarre, since some months it keeps returning, but I never incubated it or made use of it: coloured pencils. |

Dream signs that never failed me: |

Lucid Dream Goal:
A perfect week!
One week with at least 1 Lucid Dream in every night.
This implies that you have good access to memory when dreaming, good for you! Dream signs can only work if you *remember* that you don't live near a desert, or that it's impossible to be in a video game setting in waking life. |

Thank you |

PM is Prospective Memory, the memory where you remember to do something in the future (as opposed to retrospective memory, where you remember something that happened in the past), like buy lemons at the grocery store (or, remember that living out a video game means you're dreaming). LaBerge frames training to get lucid in dreams as the task of training yourself to *remember* to recognize that you're dreaming, and suggests exercises during the day to enhance PM skills. It's very effective. |

Mine is looking do i reconize my surrounding. I find myself very often in a dream wondering where the hell i am and i usually become lucid this way but its easy for me since in reality every time when im in new neibourhood or envioroment i enjoy just looking around and mapping the area in my head. I also enjoy walks and i often just walk the route instead of taking buss and i just look around and enjoy the envioroment. It often feels dreamy in reality when im on unfamiliar place which make me question could i be dreaming. |

This is an excellent approach, I also spend a fair bit of attention on location in waking like practice, but I almost never think about location in dream. What I do in dream is think about things a lot, objects, people, what I'm doing, and so on. My dream locations are either my childhood home, or a totally made up dream place. If I could get my dream attention to thinking about my location, I'd probably get lucid a lot more. |

I have so many that are only true in a dream and not real life: The age that certain people are (younger), people being there who wouldn't be there or couldn't be there in real life, old furniture arrangement that comes up many times, old furnishings, tsunamis happening where they shouldn't, seeing myself (usually my little girl self running around or talking to me)...the list goes on! It's interesting to see what other people have as signs. |
|
Being psychic: They say dreaming is about expectations, but I'd have NO REASON to expect it, like horror movie trope car not starting up. I'd never expect that, but my expectations are controlled by the dream. |
