I did. When I first saw it I thought the whole website was either full of liars or trolls. My friend thought the same thing when I told him about it a month ago, but I was able to convince him to try it by telling him that scientists proved that it is real. He wants to learn how, but he doesn't have the internet at his house so he has only been able to read some of the stuff a few times at school.

There was a thread on lucid dreaming on a psychology forum that I read, so I decided to see if there were any forums devoted to dreaming and related topics.

I found a portuguese lucid dreaming forum, and I think it was from there that someone pointed me out to this forum. At first, I tried to offer a partnership to translate some of the tutorials (I remember slash responding to me), but then I liked the place so much that I just moved to this forum permanently ^^

Was a guest for like a year and a half, then registered.

If I remember correctly, I was trying to figure out how to summon a cute co-worker, did a google search on how to do it, and found this site.

I was just googling "lucid dreaming" and I found this forum and thought it looked interesting. I ended up registering. It's been six years now. Time flies.

Through this funny enough: Kerbal Space Program Forum

People were talking about their lucid dreams of space (everyone there knows space is beautiful, aside from a couple "trolls"). I dropped in because it sounded interesting. Then someone posted a link to this and I checked it out.

I got this feeling like you wouldn't believe. A mix of curiosity, anxiety, happiness, etc. Its like no other feeling. I stayed on it all night, and almost begged my subconscious for a lucid dream. Unfortunately I tried too hard, another full day, upon another of gawking at people's dream journals, then finally getting a 3 second lucid dream. Then after that a long dream, then a long-medium lucid dream. After that I started progressing like anyone else.

Sometimes I still get that feeling. Most of the time its a symptom of "ToomuchDV-e-fluenza".

      Sweet dreams.

Stumbleupon, long ago. I would've found this site regardless though, I was interested in lucid dreaming around the time, just hadn't brought myself to dive into it much (which I would later do)

I had had too many SP experiences. I decided to google about that (not being able to move after waking up), and I found out what it was. I read about people saying that SP could be used to induce lucid dreams... and I thought "a way of handling this SP stupid thing AND of getting rid of nightmares!? I'M IN!" so I googled lucid dream and here I am.

      How I got here?

Well... not going to say it was aliens... but it was aliens.

WELL I'M NOT NERDS LIKE YOU GUYS. Also I'm not crazy, I swear.

Seriously though, I found my way through here through a number of ways. The first being through tulpa community (shudders). Someone suggested lucid dreaming could help with development, and I clicked... and didn't stick around too long because lazy. Then I found it through blackpeoplemeet.com Blackle.com again.

Because it's what our people use.

      ...

Anyway, yeah, I just happened to be looking for it again some day because it happened to be on my mind, and progressively I've been becoming more and more consistent with it.

      PROGRESSIVELY.

._. Maybe I'd stay more if I posted more.

Someone hold me ;~; *breaks down*

How I got here was stupid haha
I was watching American Dad and in that episode the son talks about how he can control his dream and I thought it was a amazing.
I instantly went to my computer and searched up "lucid dreaming" and stumbled on the gates of this lovely website, that same day I tried as much as I could, red as much as I could on Lucid dreaming and on that night I had two lucid dreams totally blown away that it worked and every now and again (mostly in the holidays when I have the free time) I come back here looking for better ways to attain a lucid dream or just reading other peoples DJ's

There was this other forum I used to visit that had a section on dreams. The whole forum wasn't about dreaming, they just had a section for it. After awhile of posting my dreams there, I figured it would better serve me to do it on a forum devoted to dreaming. So I tabbed over to google & searched for Dream Forum. This site came up first and seemed popular, so here I am.

You better take a seat, cuz this will be an intense ride!

It all started when a star exploded. You see, this star's death gave birth to our Earth. Star dust can make quite a soup, indeed. After that, a peculiar thing happened. Microscopic life started to form, most likely in natural hot tubs constantly heated by volcanoes and the pee, but nobody liked the bacteria that couldn't hold it in. Then, a long and boring process of evolution happened through a stupendous long period of time.

On a certain day, two people, a man and a women, were drunk and decided to get it on under the kitchen table (ewwwww). In this epic journey, an extraordinary race happened. Sperm after sperm, millions of sperms, raced and raced through a long and exhausting track. When a certain one saw the finish line, he pedaled as fast as he can to claim his prize, and sure he did! Though that poor fellow got his tail fallen off, he started to bind with the princess to form one of nature's greatest miracles, the miracle of baby making.

Through long and quite an uncomfortable amount of months, the little me started to form (though I can't remember my 10th birthday, don't ask me how I know that). After all that, I popped out and the first greeting from the new world I got was a spank on the butt. How rude. Anyways, my life started then.

After like 16 years, I was 16. 16 is a very weird age. The internet was my best friend back then (still is, if you wanna count all my internet friends and anime crushes *blush*). I then decided that dreaming about my favorite show was the best way to live it, so I used the all mighty Google, the closest thing to omniscience we've got, available at everyone's hands (aapreciate dat). No surprise, I got lucid dreaming as a result, and boy oh boy was I ASTOUNDED! The first thing was "how", so I spent 4 months studying 'how' in different sites, which weirdly, didn't include dreamviews. Then I decided to visit dreamviews.

      End of story, goodnight

Thumbs up How I found this site

I found this forum from looking around Tulpa.info, from this site's link being visible under their main page's Topsites and Affiliates and reviewing a post of a user named, Mistgod, stating that he's been on DreamVeiws before. After my move away from Tulpa.info's forums as it didn't seem very accepting and open to help me with connecting closer to my otherworldly friends, I ended up here, in hopes to better my dreaming experiences so that I can interact with those who mean the most to me.

I was seventeen and already curious about many kinds of fringe topics such as this (and it was even more fringe in 2008, before Inception and such). I used the program StumbleUpon a lot to kill time, and one day I landed here. I was instantly fascinated but life got in the way and I set aside the whole LD thing for over a decade. Now I'm back.
