A Poem for everyone... *Great Men* The greatest of great men shall be… The one that proves of night and day, To have no fears or engrossing encumbrances, Who fly at night and walk by day. Who weeps all winter in anticipation of spring. What great men are we? Who rejoices in the night and fear the morning. The anticipation of waking blinds. Greatness in dreams surrounds, intensifies failure. Failure of life, success in the night. The greatest of great men shall be… The one that proves of night and day, To hold our failure true learning all the while, To delight in the waking and welcome sleep, And rejoice in winter as well as spring. What great men are we? Who fear the night and welcomes the morning. Our minds conjure what we despise…. Fear reins. The world is depicted true. And in a nightmare what great men are we? The greatest of great men shall be… Those that hold dear both realities, Of waking and dreaming we all are bound. In consciousness, life is discovered. So the greatest of great men tell me! What great men are we? To destroy this world and that, To kill and rape and steal, To hold oneself higher than another, In our dreams only, we are great. Great men? Where, someone show me! Anyway......
