      I Need a Beat Maker

Onei, I know you had a good one a little while back. I need a website that allows you to create your own little song/beat.

Basically, my "game reviews" on youtube are becoming a little bit too popular to use copyrighted music for the opening theme, so I need to make a little diddy or something. I did use one for a couple days, and it was REAL fun, but I forgot the name.

It was basically a several track thing, and you could choose from pre-recorded beats, and mix em up. Basically, if anyone has anything (it has to be free), then let me know.
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.

Actually, the one that I use is called "Fruity Loops," but it's (usually) not free.

Audacity - you can use their sounds (drums, etc). It's free to download and easy to use.

If you run out of sounds to use, try searching for free copyrighted sound files on the internet (there's a couple of good sites via google) and then save them on your computer and then import them into your audacity files and repeated them/filter them and edit.

Mixcraft 4 - has all sorts of instruments. Easy to use and has hundred of sounds, but it's not free to download.

Garage Band - like Mixcraft 4, but for MACs instead of Windows computers. If you have a MAC get this one. It's also not free to download.

Ardour is a totally free DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) - Fancy way of saying you can use it to make some sweet tunes. The learning curve might be a tad high for what you're trying to do though.

^ Oh yeah, I just downloaded Ardour the other day. I haven't used it yet. It looks pretty cool, though, from what I've seen.

It's pretty nice. You can actually get Jack running with quite a few other programs including Fruity Loops. Jack makes rewire look like a little kid! Now all you need is a pirated copy of NI Komplete and you're all set, haha!!

      I'm actually a Reason/Logic/Live guy myself!
