      Dab's dream journal

      Well, actually I don't plan to write all my dreams here, since I do it on the paper, but there are some reoccuring elements, such as - now for three days in a row- a ship. First time it was a apocalyptic floods entering the cities(probably the advertisment for The day after tomorow), I was on the big ship and just before an enormous wave would come over, I realize I must be dreaming and I woke up. The next day I tried desperately to convince a group of people, that it doesn't make a damn little sense to stay on the coast, where we were, so let's get on the ship - the ship was silently standing maybe 50 meters from us in the sea. I think I convinced them, but dont remember more.
      Today's dream was again in the small harbor and I had the great urge to get on the boat.

      Anybody idea?

      Everyone has ignored you! So here I am!

      In order to better interpret your dream, I would have to ask if you have seen the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" and who you were with, what memories you associate with it.

      Typically, (in my opinion) a boat would symbolise either on opprotunity or an escape from personal problems (of course, there are many other interpretations as usual but.. whatever).

      So in the case of this dream, considering you said you were trying to convince your friends to come on the boat in order to be safe, it makes me wonder if, when you went to see the movie, you had to do any convincing.

      It could mean you feel you missed out on something important and big that night, or it could mean you hated it and wanted to leave..

      So yes.. to better interpret, I am asking about that night in which you saw the movie, or at least, what you associate with the movie.

      Don't bother with the phantoms ignoring other phantoms, I ma glad you've put your two cents.
      Interesting, I've seen the movie, but couldn't make much out of it, but the developement is as follows:
      It is not compleet yet, but that it all seems to be very tricky, fragmented dream map, hidden within a kind of story.It's very difficult to map all the dreams since they have each time a different shape,environment, but I see the connection...and the dreams about the ships where already a continuition. I don't hope I will get to the end of the story, but perhaps soon I can make a bit of sense out of it, than I'll put it into a cohesive concept and will definitelly post it here.
