      DeadBalloon's Visits

      First visit.

I knew a very old Buddhist monk close to my Uncle. You could even call him a spiritual advisor. Seemed to change my Uncle a lot, actually. Made him a more religious/spiritual man. For the better. I knew the monk, but never did meet or talk to him much. He passed away in the late 90's. Don't recall the exact year. But one night, he came to me in a dream.

The monk appeared to me in my room. I was sitting up in my bed and he looked over at me and asked me a question.

"Are you ready to come along?" he asked.

"Where are we going?" I replied.

He laughed a bit and gave me a smile. Then he sat next to me and asked again.

"Are you ready? Just say yes or no".

      "Yes" I responded.

Now he was really happy, he smiled a huge grin and said,

"I know you, and your type. Adventurous!"

I was then no longer in my bed but in a rollercoaster with him sitting next to me with the same huge grin.

"But, where are we going?" I asked again.

"Shh..." he said. He pointed a crooked old finger out into nothingness, which was what I was suddenly faced with in front of our rollercoaster instead of tracks.

"What you're about to see is only as close as what your mind will make it appear. Do you understand?"

And as he said those words, we were suddenly over a green valley. So lush it hurt my eyes. I looked down into them and past the mist and the shallow clouds, what looked like a bird slowly came into view.

A man on an English Ordinary bicycle was slowing treading through the sky.

I turned to the monk and he said,

"It's as close as your mind will allow it."

I thought I saw more but the monk interrupted my search.

"There!" he said. And pointed to huge circular buildings in a clearing among the hills of the valley.

As we got closer I noticed many people walking about in large white lab coats going in and out of the buildings. I somehow knew this was a learning/research center.

Our coaster slowly descended and we on the ground making our way to the entrance of the largest building. We were led into a room.
In the middle of this room was a chair. The monk then turned to me and said,

"This is where I am taking you. Sit in that chair and close your eyes. When you awake, you will no longer remember anything from your past life but you will put on the path."

I somehow knew what he meant, but I wasn't ready to forget everything.

"I can't forget those I love and my family" I responded.

      He gave me a frown.

I was now waiting in a crowd to board the subway in Chicago.

A shot rings out in the crowd. People rush and run apart in panic. And as the crowd disperses, I see my Uncle slowly falling down from a gunshot wound.

I rush over to him before he hits the ground and I catch him in time. I look around for help but no one seems to notice and goes back to waiting for the subway.

"Somebody! Anybody! Help me!" I yell out.

"Do you remember his best friend?" The monk asks, reappearing before me.

      "Yes"

"Think of him, and he will appear"

I think of my Uncle's best friend and he appears. Happy and jovial as he always is. My Uncle is no longer shot and he is sharing good times with his best buddy.

I'm suddenly back in the room with the chair.

"Those on the path can save many people from suffering." The monk says to me.

I tell him that I understand and will willingly sit in the chair.

      "I just need a moment" I say.

I move to a corner and swipe a pencil and some paper.

I write as many names and memories as I can and detailed instructions on what has transpired should I read this without my previous memory.

      Hope the monk didn't see.

      "Um, I'm ready now"

"Ok, sit down and relax" the monk says.

I sit down, and I'm sort of relaxed knowing a piece of paper in my back pocket will keep me who I am when I wake.

"I'll be taking that though." the monk reaches behind the chair and slowly takes my note.

"Please! I can't forget these people"

"HAHA...calm down" the monk slowly puts the paper back in my pocket and whispers into my ear.

"I did the same thing, but for other things" he smiled and backed away

"Now, you're ready." he said and snapped his fingers.

      The dream ended.

The very next day I called my Uncle and told him my dream.
He laughed over the line and replied.
"This is very interesting, you see, I've just received calls from 2 other people
who had a very similar dream."
"What?!" I shouted back over the line.
"Well, not the exact one you had but some people who were very close to the monk said that he came to them and asked if they were ready to go on a trip."
      "What happened?" I asked.
"One was told that he needed to pack his belongings in a suitcase that the monk gave him and when it was full he could go, but the suitcase would never get full, it never filled up no matter how many things he put into it, and then he woke up."
"And the other person's dream, what happened there?"
"She was asked to step out of her window and flew away with the monk up to Heaven."
      "Heaven?"
      Was that where I was?

      Second Visit

This dream is exactly 10 years later.

It was the first week of January this year.

I was being brought to an island in the middle of a calm and quiet tropical

ocean. The waves were orange and red as the sun was setting into the

water. I felt a huge amount of energy coming from this island.

I somehow knew that I was being sponsored by someone to be able to visit

this island because it was obviously unknown.

There was a large resort set up on this island as I came closer.

I was led into a grand room with enormous vaulted ceilings and intricate decor

and I was introduced to some people who were to be my roommates for this

stay. They were no one I knew yet they were familiar and of course I was

      comfortable around them.

I looked about the room and there were 2 of everything.

2 beds, 2 tvs, 2 couches, 2 desks..etc. Upon closer examination each item

was irrefutably good or evil versions of itself. I suddenly felt I was being

monitored here and I had to choose carefully what I used.

From another room, a voice makes an announcement.

"While you stay in this resort, everything will be paid for with money that will

be supplied to you daily. Also, everyone will each receive one gift."

Another voice responded to the announcement.

"Hey, Nat! Your gift is a key that can unlock or lock one door for your aunt."

I started thinking, 'What was my cousin, Nat doing in the next room and why

was she here too? and who was talking to her?'

I wanted to go over and see, but everyone started to make to the door

and I was swept up into the hallway leading out to outdoor pool area.

"Let's all go hang out by the pool lounge." someone says.

The pool area was enormous and there were several bars around it.

There were so many people walking about and lounging, all preoccupied.

Even the people that I was to room with had set up shop at a table by the

      pool.

The air was warm and perfect and I felt very content.

"Hey, I'll go grab us some beer or some drinks, anyone?" I ask.

"No, it's too early" someone replies from within the group.

I make my way to one of the bars.

A woman and her daughter are waiting at the bar when I approach and I over

      hear their conversation.

"I wish we could have gone to Bakersfield" the daughter sighed

"I know dear, but you have to understand." the mom replied

A woman behind the bar comes up to them and brings them a bowl of soup.

She hands then the soup and I noticed her thumb is in the soup over the lip

      of the bowl.

The mother and the daughther both notice it and the woman behind the

counter then gives them a look of discontent and turns around and begins

to drink the soup out of the bowl. She takes 3 or 4 gulps then turns and

thrusts the bowl back to the mother and daughter who then quickly grab the

      bowl and rush away.

Not wanting the same service I hail another person behind the counter.A man

standing in what appears to be the upper portion of the bar acknowledges

      me.

      "I'll have a Guinness" I say.

"A what?" he cocked his head.

      "A Guinness"

      "What?"

      "GUINNESS"

"I don't understand what you're asking me" the man yells back.

I see a bottle next to him and point at it.

He sees it and gets me a beer and starts to make his way to me.

I reach into my pockets and remembered that money was to be supplied for

      me while I was here.

I knew I had no money in my wallet but I opened it up anyway and to my

      surprise, there was money.

"That'll be 15 Dollars" the man said

      "WOW!"

I had no idea how expensive this was, but hey the money isn't mine anyway.

I look at the bills in my wallet.

      I had:

      4 one dollar bills

      2 five dollar bills

      and

A One-Hundred and Eleven Dollar bill?

What a strange bill. I looked at the 3 ones on the corner trying to make

sense of it, but hey it's all that I had that could pay for my order so I give it

to the guy. He takes it and says

"Okay, be back with your change."

As he starts to walk away I give a sigh and look up into the sky.

There are a few clouds in the air and what seems to be UFO's hovering right

      above the clouds.

      UFOs???

I stare at them for what seemed like an hour.

I start to wonder, is this island in some place in the future?

They can't be UFOs...maybe space stations? I kept staring and it finally

      become clear.

They were the buildings, the huge circular buildings I saw in my dream I had

      10 years earlier.

If those buildings were in the sky and they were supposed to be some sort

of representation of heaven...then...where was I now?

      "Your change." the mans says.

I grab the money and put it away without looking at it.

I turn around and stare into the crowd of people walking past to and from

      pool/lounge area.

And there, from the within the crowd, I see my Great Aunt who had passed

away 7 years ago emerge. She too seems preoccupied.

You know, like when you see someone you know walking about in the mall

or a store and they have no idea you're looking directly at them and you're

waiting for them to acknowledge your presence.

I call to her and she suddenly sees me and walks over.

I try to give her a big hug, she's barely corporeal.

I know she's been dead and I start to slowly understand where I might be

and I also know I'm starting to wake.

"How have you been, is everything alright?" I ask her

"I've been good." she replies and starts to drift back into the crowd.

      "WAIT!" I call her back

"You, you're, I mean...you must know things now, please!" I tell her

"What do you want to know?" she says slowly walking back to me

I started to think about what I could ask her, but all I could think about was

her husband who was still alive and my grandmother who was her best friend

      who was also still alive.

"Can you tell me if they're gonna be ok?" I ask

"My husband and your grandmother are very old now and you must take

good care of them, watch them carefully." she answers.

"There is also one more thing." she adds

      "What?" I ask

"You must pay special attention to those who are awake but are still

actually sleeping," she tells me, "your Aunt Pam is one of those people."

"Tell my children not to forget me, and tell them that I love them" she says

      And with that I woke.

wow those are some dreams I must say they sound too composed, almost non-dream-ish.

Thanks yuri, but these dreams, since they were so structured, were why I was also able to remember them so well. I wanted to leave them here not because I would forget them, since I've had them 10 years apart from each other, but because I wanted to start a thread about them in another part of the forum and leave these as reference.
Since you've picked up an interest I'll ask you first before I start the thread.

You see, the first dream had a follow up into real life. As you've read with my call to my Uncle.

The second dream also had a precog-ish venture into real life.

I kept thinking about the 111 Dollar bill in my dream and I kept playing it over and over in my head.

I counted the money over and over, 4 one dollar bills, 2 five dollar bills and that crazy 111 dollar bill.

It wasn't until Jan 10th later that month as I was making my way to work it dawned on me. Maybe the bills were clues. And that 111 meant Jan 11th.

It sounded crazy but I called my some of my family that I shared these dreams with and told them maybe Jan 11th had some signifigance.

No one could make any connections, so I just let it go.

The very next day, my Great Aunt's husband, the one I asked about, went missing.

He's very old and has been fight Alzheimer's and suddenly disappeared into the night.

Everyone called me the next morning and we all went on a search looking for the poor guy, hoping for the best.

Luckily everything turned out okay and he was picked up by police earlier in the morning, wandering into someone's driveway a few neighborhoods away after he'd been wandering all night long.

He did not have ID on him so they eventually put him into a local hospital, where we were eventually led.

Okay, so here's what I wanted to start my thread about.

I truly believe that you shouldn't change the outcome of future events. IF that is, precognition truly exists.

In my 2nd dream I asked about 2 people, my Great Aunt's husband and my Grandmother, and then information about my Aunt Pam was given to me. Making that 3 people that somehow I was given some sort of clue about.

I feel the bills in my wallet in the dream were actually dates.

      111 dollar bill was Jan 11 (1/11)

2 five dollar bills I believe could be May 5 (5/5)

4 one dollar bills I believe could be Nov 11 (11/11)

I don't know if there were any other clues in that dream, but again, I don't like the idea of meddling with future events because I've had encounters with the unexplained and the supernatural but those are whole other stories.
