Thread: Dream Views orders me to share a dream...

So I just woke up from this dream and I was like whoa I need to write this down. I'll just send myself an email through gmail. And sitting in my gmail was a message from dream views saying I hadn't posted here in a while, asking me if I would please post. Coincidence? Well, who cares I love the improbable. (I am so hungry right now!)

PS I just finished Freud's Interpretation of Dreams. Although some parts were definitely not convincing for me, I thought that book was amazing!

From what I remember, the dream began at C's apartment. Things were going well, then I had to go somewhere. I came back and C from work was just being so unbelievable mean! (In real life (IRL) we had planned to get together for the first time today, so there was some anxiety. there)

This entire dream was like C's IRL claimed grumpiness vs. his apparent geniality. I believe C is symbolically related to my parents.

I remember that C wanted to teach a piano lesson or voice lesson, I forget which, to an old friend of mine JG. I was jealous and annoyed but I understood and left. So I was out, and things happened, something involving a Hummer. I totally forget that C is teaching this lesson so I come back. Well, C gets so derisive of me, meanwhile I'm telling myself and feeling "it's ok, I just forgot, I'm doing my best. I love myself." And C is being so mean, what are you doing here?

Somehow I then become naked and my clothes are locked in another room. I ignore what C wants and go into the other room to get my clothes. I'm so afraid of C at this point. In that room, I discover that C is friends with an old friend's dad, Dr. B. In this dream Dr. B looks like Dr. Weil, except w/ a larger beard. That's because I had made fun of Dr. Weil earlier this same evening. So Dr. B hasn't seen me in years and he's asking me all sorts of questions. C shows up and I ask C if I can't stay and talk to Dr. B. He says Noooo, get out, I'm going to call the police. So I leave, naked, and this time wearing neon orange high heels, with four points it looked like one of plastic things they put on this slice pizza to hold its shape in the box. IRL I had been joking about becoming a transsexual with a colleague,

After I leave the apt, I realize that he shouldn't push me around, that I was only doing my best to do what he wanted but I forgot, I knock on the door and come back in. C is outraged and he doesn't know what he has to do to get rid of me. That is the point I realize that I have fallen asleep on my couch without showering, flossing or brushing my teeth and that I need to fall asleep in my normal bed because my neck hurts.
