Thread: Eric's Dream Journal *Good for newbies, like myself*

4/6/04 — Dream 1 and/or Dream2 — Cannot remember what happened before. Had Windows XP installed on my computer (I have Me). The next thing I remember is that I have really long hair (I need a haircut). Cannot remember anything else. I wake up.

[I kno, this is pathetic, but its a start!]

4/8/04 — Dream 1 — Cannot remember what happened before. Joe (best friend who hates the Yankees) sends a computer animation. In it, the Yankees fall down. (We were just looking at the "Dancing Bush" computer animation that night.) End of dream. I wake up.

4/9/04 — Dream 1 — There were two rival fruit gangs. Yes, fruit as in apples and bananas. The gangs were two categories of fruits [like sweet and not sweet], but I forgot what the categories were. It was setup like a sporting event; there was/were an/two announcer[s] explaining the rivalry. I can't remember any thing else. I wake up.

Dream 2 — My sister, her fiancee, and I have an argument. For some reason, I can't stop thinking about South Park (I hate that show). Can't remember anything else. I wake up.

Dream 3 — There was a commercial on TV for "Zoltar", the psychic. My dad says he wants to test her. He tells me to go outside on top of the truck (we don't have a truck), and he was going to ask where I was. Then, "Zoltar" is totally forgotten about. My dad tells me that he called my neighbor and someone else picked up the telephone. They said that the neighbor went crazy. I can't remember anything else. I wake up.

There is the potential fantastic anti-windows joke about that being a "nightmare" right there. If anybody would care to use it, please do so.

Dream 1 — My science teacher was explaining some odd facts about the human skin, and eating skin in particular [don't ask]. Either me or someone else in the class says "You're going to have a brief me!" The class thought it was hilarious.

[This was definately one of my wierder drems. Although none of my dreams make sense, this one had a Hannibal Lecter undertone.]

PS - Yes, the Windows Xp couldbe quite a nightmare, but Me isn't any better! And the Yakees are indeed God's chosen people, not the Jewish.

Hoping for a good night tonight.... so far, I've been dissapointed with my dream recall. Hopefully tonight, I'll remember all of my dreams.

4/11/04

Okay, remembered two dreams tonight. Not exactly what i wanted, but it works.

Dream 1 - On the computer [again, this might be a dream sign]. I find out that one of my freinds, Matia, is on the missing persons list. I have a deep sinking feeling inside of me, and then have a false awakening. I walk to the door of my bedroom, open it, and standing on the other side is Matia. I start awake.

Dream 2 - I am in a psycologists office. The psycologist holds out his hands with an American football in each. He tells me to choose one. I feel like it is a very important decision to make. I can't remember anything else. I wake up.

PS - Give me one reason, other than pinstripes why the Yankees suck! (Lots of other basball teams have pinstripes.)

4/12/04 - Dream 1 - Another dream set up like a sporting event [possibly dream sign]. There was a new "guy" to help me dream. The announcers were reading off his resume as if it were a sports player's stats.

The problem with my to dreamsigns [computer and announcers] is that they are very common in my life. I am on a omputer most of my day, and in my spare time, I watch sports. It is hard to distinguish a dream from real life using dream signs.

Dream 2 - My teacher comes up to me and some friends saying that we will be on a submarine, and I'm thinking, Okay...?. Then, as an after thought, he nonchalantly says that we will be killed by drowning on it. The next thing I kno is that I am on the submarine with my friends and a whole bunch of other people. I meet up with my friend, Anthony, and say, "Damn! I forgot to destroy my porn collection." (I don't have any porn) He then says that he took care of his porn two days ago. The crew of the submarine then tell us that they were going to flood the ship at 12:00. At 11:38, everyone started rushing up the main stairway screaming, so I assumed they were flooding the submarine. The thought just then sinks in, I'm gonna die!. I panic and start to run up the stairs with everyone else. The air started to get harder to breath. I never saw the water because I woke up.

[I was semi-lucid in this dream until the submarine started flooding. Then, I got caught up in the moment.]

4/13/04 - Dream 1 - Was about to playMadden 2005 (doesn't exist) on Digital TV and a Playstation 1. The game starts and it isn't Madden 2005. Instead its a game in the genre of Super Mario Brothers. I was asked by someone: "Do you really?". I wake up.

4/15/04 — Dream 1 — I am at my friend's house with three or four other people; it looks like a mansion. It turns out that the guy from the Scream movies with the German mask thing on is hiding in the house. A chase (that I won't go into detail) lasts for about thirty minutes, until he had killed everybody but me. I hide in a closet holding two giant knives. As the Scream character opens the door, I lunge out and stab him. I called a random telephone number and asked them for help. (Why I didn't call 911, I don't know. My conscious self was wondering that as I was dreaming, but never became lucid.) A police car pulls up along with my family. We start talking about how they went to Darien Lake (an amusement park by my house). I wake up. [To think, I just watched "Nightmare on Elm Street: Part 2", another Wes Craven classic, on TV last night.]

4/17/04 - Dream 1 - Classified.

4/18/04 - Dream 1 - Was on a draw bridge. It had a catwalk on it, and for some reason I was too scared to walk on it. Then the scene morphs where I am at work. (I'm in High School, and don't have a job like this.) There are computers and cubicles. Over the computers, the management gives us messages that there is going to be an earthquake. I am the only person who believes this message. I then leave the message on the computer because I supposedly have no short-term memory, like the guy in the movie, "Memento". Don't remember the earthquake. Wake up.

4/19/04 - No dreams! Argh!

Wait a second... now that I have gone through the day, something has poped up in my mind. I was in computer class and there was a pop quiz. I remember feeling really angry. Wake up.

Okay, the reason I haven't been having many dreams is because I just started going back to school. My sleeping pattern has been disrupted.

Holy jeez! I havent posted in a L-O-N-G time! I just got my internet service switched from dial-up to DSL, unfortunately, there was a week wait between when dial-up ws shut off and DSL came on. I'm ba-ack!

Yankees do suck, and I could care less about the damn pinstripes.... sure they have a good team, but fuck them....any city could have an all-star laden team if their bankroll was 1 billion dollars.... go cardinals, now thats a real team.

Well, tonight is the night I break out of my dream "vacation". Is'nt that great? A vacation from dreams. I'm going to set my alarm to REM sleep patterns and use the MILD technique.
