Wednesday March 12th

HAD A LUCID DREAM! Wasn't very vivid, still need work on my dream recall, but it worked! w00t on a stick!

So:

1.) Showing Off My Newfound Powers

So, I was with Rick and some friends, and we rented some movies, one of which was a Fullmetal Alchemist movie. We were putting them away for later watchage, and I suddenly was very tired. Rick suggested that I take a nap. I went to the bathroom, and as I looked in the mirror, I noticed that my face was all swollen, and I had two noses. The dream me thought, "This is real, right? I'm gonna be stuck having two noses and one swollen eyelid FOREVER!" But then I had a second thought. I did a RC, looking away and then back again, and I noticed it was back to normal. With my newfound awareness, I floated across the bathroom for a second, then decided to stick my hand through the very small mirror. It went through into another dimension, and I grabbed onto a leg, which I knew was Master Chief's. Strange, I never dream about Halo, or think about it often. Then I pulled my hand back, because the mirror was too small for me to use it to change settings. I went over to my friend rick, and I said, "Hey dude, check this out!" I formed a ball of purplish light over my finger, and shot it across the room. He seemed unimpressed. The dream faded, and I didn't remember how to keep lucidity, so I woke up.

Thursday, March 13th

Tried to WBTB, but by the time I woke up (5 hours after going to sleep) it was 4:00 and I had to get up at 6. I need to go to bed earlier.

1.) Airport, Bycicle, and German Dude

So I was at the airport with my dad, but the airport was bigger than DIA is in reality, which is quite freaking massive. When I got to the parking lot, I found that the green station wagon my dad had driven in on was now a bike. I tried to get it to my dad, and lo and behold, the bike lock wasn't working! As I was taking the bike to my dad, this guy came up behind me and asked "Ist das dein Fahrrad? (Is that your bicycle?)" I responded, "Nein, ich bringe es zu einem Freund. (No, I'm bringing it to a friend.)" He walked away. We all somehow rode that tiny bycicle to a massive apartment/hotel/condominium complex a while away.

2.) NASA Trampoline and Demons

My family and I were all going on a trip to jump on the trampoline that the astronauts from NASA used. (WTF?) Before the trampoline could be accessed, however, I had to use this control panel to move mechanized stuff out of the way, in Metroid Prime 3 fashion. The problem with this was, there were demons guarding the place, and two of them charged at me as soon as I lowered the trampoline. I ran to a nearby car, opened the door, went inside, and got my shoe caught in the door. I pulled it out of the door, fended off one demon with it by throwing it at his face (the shoe, not the door), and slammed the door. The other demon had the brilliant idea to charge at me as I was doing this, so he got a face full of paint and metal.

Afterwards, my brother and I were playing a Neon Genesis Evangelion/Metroid Prime video game, and my brother's character had the power to turn anything immersed in water into an eye that could shoot laser beams...

The Cityscape Universe Intro (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

First dream using the dream journal app. Introduces a recurring setting, just because I know it to be so.

I recall being young and female, and I was traversing a complex city area at night. Suddenly, this big burly dude with a machine gun who looks like the Heavy from TF2 comes barreling in, and chases me throughout the city. As I reach another person in the city, the TF2 man suddenly runs into a nearby room and closes the door. The other person stands by it (as I recall it was a tall girl wearing a light brown overcoat) and I notice she's got a gun too. I then somehow become myself watching a movie about my previous actions, and think to myself, Why doesn't she tell that girl that the man in there is chasing her? And then there was some stuff about black and white orbs that hooked onto a device on her back that made her superpowerful but insane, and I don't remember that part too well.

Pirates! (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was in this place where lots of buildings were made of wood. Suddenly, the building I was in started rocking back and forth violently.It turns out that these kids were the culprit, and some authority figure came to put a stop to it. He asked each kid for their name. One said he was TJ, and that his video software was well known. Afterwards, I talked to the man and he had two pieces of dental hardware in his hand. I asked in disbelief, "You yanked out their braces?" Then I went to another wooden building, which happened to contain other people. Somebody who looked like Dola from Castle in the Sky came over and told me that their adversaries were trying to build a second moon in the sky. I looked down to see that they were just starting to build the stone stairway up to it. The boards beneath us gave way and the men building the stairs shouted "PIRATES!" and I woke up.

The Four Factions (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Well, dammit, I was trying for a DILD or DEILD today, and even slept until 1:00 for it, but no dice.

I was playing a game online in which there were four teams you could be on, and each team was allied with the others until attacked. It was like some kind of weird cross between an Age of Empires game and BYOND's Murder Mansion. I would frequently start new games of it, but always forget and do other things until my team was wiped out except for me. The red leader tried to attack me in this state, but I found a menu option that allowed me to shoot fire at him, and I successfully fended him off. You could send spies to kill important faction members without them knowing it was you, but the spies would have to wash off the blood in the only bathtub in the entire house. In a large part of the house, there were cats pacing back and forth, and if you hit one, you went back to where you entered the room. I was calling each cat by name to stop for a while whenever I passed it, but found I could achieve the effect better by yelling "STOP, CATS!" My own cat (the one I have IRL) was covered in the aforementioned blood for some reason, so I was taking her to the bathtub. The way it worked was, there was a plug for the drain attached to this chain. For some reason some guy behind me thought it was chain mail. He said it was unrealistic that I could pull it off the chain (mail) because I would have to break it with something heavy. The dream switched to the red leader talking to a statue. He said "The only thing I look for in the world is LOOT!" and the dream ended.

School and Hand Doctors (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

The first part of this dream I remember is that I was sent to go get my friend Morgan, who wasn't in class. I found her in the lunchroom, and she said that one of my brother's friends had given her an iPod, and wanted me to just let her go, so I did, and headed for my high school biology class (I've graduated already), where our homework had been to identify a certain bird. Then this guy came in who couldn't move his arms. He then said, "You know, this you can't get from touching me, but there are diseases just like this that are contagious. I'm here to get your arms checked, so that we make sure the school is healthy." I went with him to this desk wher a lady was standing. I placedmy hand on a piece of paper, and she started to trace around it. "Have you seen a hand doctor recently?" she asked. "Not everyone is so rich, you know. I don't even know if I have a regular doctor." I replied. And then there was a sequence where I discovered some games I liked were on XBox 360, which I don't have. And there was an obvious dreamsign. On some games, they had to be put in a special way, and the instructions read: "When the system clock reads 4:82, put in the cartridge. This is the time that the memory is wiped clean." And then there was something about trials of personality, where I had to guess the weight of the gold bars I was carrying (wtf?). And I woke up.
