Dream Journal - 10/9/07

I was at home, getting ready for school like any other day, however I couldn't find my shoes. Next thing I knew me and my parents were in the car and I still didn't have any shoes on. I told them about this and they supplied a box of shoes which I sifted through. The only pair that seemed decent were 2 shoes of completely different heights (or high heels =/). I put these on, got out of the car and started walking. It soon occured to me "why the hell am I wearing these shoes?", they were practically impossible to walk in.

So I went back to the car explaining that I couldn't wear the shoes. I also remember highlighting the bottom of my feet with a highlighter. There were two highlighters, both of them blue with broken caps.

Last thing I remember doing was going to the shoe store and buying some shoes, I ended up buying a pair of thongs...

When I woke up, and ACTUALLY got ready for school, I couldn't find my shoes for a good 10 minutes >_>

Seems as if your subconscious was really trying to tell you something!

It appeared as though I had just woken up and was writing in my dream journal about a dream where I was studying for an upcomming test. (Would that be a false awakening?)

I was in a pool swimming which was located at a large grassy field. I stopped swimming, grabbed all my things and began running. On the way I greeted Mr.Fox who was the father of someone I apparently knew. Anyway, I jumped an fence and began talking talking to someone, maybe the son of Mr.Fox (kinda hazy). Mr.Fox then came over and began talking about a metting he just had for baseball and was quite annoyed at the fact it was held in a shed.

This dream was kind of odd, I was in a large gym and there was a rope course. They were really odd, such as climbing up rope, tying rope, stepping over rope etc. Anyway, I was at a point where I had to climb up a rope to the roof, I got half way, then the rope snapped! I fell to the ground and didn't feel a thing, I noticed this but it didn't come to mind that I was dreaming and brushed the thought aside.

Another person came up behind me and gestured that he could do it easy, the rope was magically just back in place and secure (something else I should have picked up on) and he climbed up it toot sweet. I followed suit and went to the end of the course where we had to draw a picture.

As I ran forward to sit down a draw the image given, someone said "Hey no I was first", he jumped over the table as I ran around and then I woke up... an interesting dream...

I had a dream about animating and I was reading some sort of blog about making stick figues. I think I ended up making a stick figure.

Dream 2

There were 2 teams and both had the same objective. We were to go into the forest, find the big tree, break it open and extract the baby snake. However there was also a massive adult snake in the tree! My group took a while to open the tree but we managed and found the adult snake inside ANOTHER smaller tree inside the first. We got the baby snake and thought we were fine but the smalled tree opened (it was a pine held by someone and the top broke off releasing the snake). Everyone stepped back from the massive snake, it looked around until it finally lunged into the mouth of some random animal. Both the animal and the sname got VERY VERY fat, kind of inflated, and then I woke up.

Wednesday 10/9/07

In this dream we went out for dinner with some people I didn't know. In particular there was a couple who kept fighting. The first night went fine and we all went home safe and sound. The next night we went out again and the couple who had been fighting broke up. Next thing I knew me and the woman were now in love.

After dinner we went to buy some taps for her sink, we were supplied with a ice cream container which had a variety of them, ranging in colour. We stole some pink/purple colored one and she went straight home. I had some rollerskates and rollerskated down a BIG road. It was raining but I was fine and I met several friends I knew IRL along the way. Anyway when I was one street from home, I saw the woman I now loved and we began walking. We sat outside our house and began kissing, firstly just light pecks on the cheek, then we began using our tongues.

At this point the dream ended ): I felt so cheated!

(I've still been having trouble remembering my dreams and haven't quite been keeping up here.)

When I have dreams involving obstacle courses, I assume it's a way of testing my 'control'.

Sort of like my subconscious throws menial tasks at me in order for me to develop my environment-manipulation.

They are always seemingly impossible tasks which I eventually accomplish.
