I wonder what I'm doing wrong.
I set my awesome watch alarm last night, and woke up perfectly at 6 hours and 7.5 hours into sleep... nothing. Worse than the night before. And I almost ate a whole half a bread with peanut butter on it!
Anyway, here goes.
2. Night of October 8th, 2008
3:40am
I wake up. It takes me about thirty seconds to become conscious enough to figure out where that stupid beeping noise is coming from. I turn the alarm off, and concentrate on remembering my dream. And concentrate. And concentrate. And yeah this isn't working. Nothing at 3:40. I DO remember feeling extraordinarily giddy (I was practically laughing, except that squirrels don't laugh like humans do; we usually express happiness through physical contact with another... but Ben was sleeping so soundly, I couldn't wake that lump). So whatever I was doing in that dream, it was freakin' hilarious.
5:10am: Fragment #4
This was a bit better. I remember performing on an ebony grand piano at a huge stadium full of cheering spectators. Then one of the piano legs breaks and the thing collapses on me. Before I woke up, I remember feeling very angry at no one in particular.
Aaand that's pretty much all that happened last night. Still, my morale's high, and I'll try again tonight!

My competitor doesn't move, speak, or appear until we are joined by Jean-Phillipe, the Maitre-D' from Hell's Kitchen. He tells my competitor that he's all out of the skills that the competitor wants, telling him he'd make an excellent ??? (I couldn't remember this word. Whatever it was, and it was derived from the word "cinema," it meant "singer"). So my competitor is granted the skill of "singing." Lol.
