      Boxing

I have LOADS of interests outside of lucid dreaming ^.^
Including many sports, and one thing I remember reading a very long time ago was that when lucid you can practice various skills and actually get better at them, I did it about a week ago with driving my dad's KTM off-roader motorcycle. I'm really bad with everything on it because it's so meaty and heavy, but I just practised a while when I was lucid, and I'm noticeably better and more comfortable driving it in rl.

but I wondered if I could practice boxing... if i could sparr for a bit everytime I get lucid then i'd be able to get better much quickly, but would it work?
i mean, my mind would be making the situations, so my DC trainer wouldn't be able to send any jabs at me without me knowing...

has anyone else had any experience with this sort of thing?

does anyone know if this is possible and if it would work?

thanks so much if anyone can help =]
      Cheers,
      jim.

I think even if your mind is controlling your opponent, there may still be some surprises. Kind of like when you dream normally, you don't know what's going to happen next. As long as you don't try to control your opponent you should be fine. But even if it turns out there are no surprises, it would still be good practice for striking.

      yeaah that does sound right
i suppose if i just try and concentrate on what I'm doing and how i'm gonna block/dodge etc then I wont be controlling what he does.

      cheers for the help!
