Thread: do dreamcatchers prevent lucid dreams? anyone here have one?

It's all in your head, bro. The dreamcatcher is just a symbol and if you believe it works, then your subconscious obliges you by making you think it actuallly is working. The power of suggestion is amazing.

I know I'm gonna sound like an idiot, but what is a dreamcatcher??

A dream catcher is something that used to be made by Native American Indians, it's something you can hang on the wall, it's a circle with what looks like a web in the middle of it, and the whole thing is decorated with feathers. I'm not sure, but I think the myth behind it is that it will "catch" all the bad dreams from bothering you at night.

yeah like u said, they "catch" or "trap" bad dreams in its web. mine has a little arrow head attached to it but im not sure what its supposed to represent. amyway so its believed it filters bad dreams. anyway i hope this helps.
