Thread: Dreaming In A Dream

Dreaming in a dream annoys me. I was sleeping just now and I had amazing lucidity. But the thing is, I don't know if I was dreaming in my dream or if it was REAL lucidity.
So I fell asleep at around 6:20-6:30 PM. A weird thing is that my mind was wondering while falling asleep, and it was wandering so much, that I seemed to be entering these thoughts in my dreams. But I'm not sure if this was in my real dreams or my dreams in my dream.

In the dream I had a few hours ago, I was at my dad's house, which in this dream looked nothing like his house at all! Anyway, I was tired in this dream and decided to try my lucid skills. Just like what I was doing when I REALLY fell asleep. So in my dream, I would fall asleep within a few seconds and start lucid dreaming immediately. In the dream, I would look at my hands and see how they were deformed. So I knew I was dreaming. But I would walk through the area knowing it was a dream. But I'm not sure if this was in a REAL lucid or in my DREAM lucid. I don't seem to have control when I'm having a lucid dream in my dream, which is rather unfortunate.

I just hope you understand what I'm saying. It does sound rather confusing. I just wanted to here about your experiences with dreaming INSIDE a dream...
