Well do what you want but giving up doesnt seem like the right way to me.
Some people just have to try longer but everybody is(supposed to be) able to do it in the end,I dont know how much time you really have been spending on it,but I would keep tying for a little longer..

yah man i also joined in september, and i had my first lucid dream last night! and it wasnt because of a RT, RT's only work with certain people...it was because my hat fell off my head when i was flying and i didnt care...haha

Don't give up!
It's something you just cannot force. Sometimes I god for months without an LD, sometimes I have several in a week.

I think you might be trying too hard. Thry this - When you go to bed tonight, just say to yourself that you are just going to get a good nights sleep. And try not to be lucid.

It worked for me the other night after a two week dry spell.

I'm not leaving persay, just dropping in like not very often. Although seeker and his gang has convinced me to keep up LD.

Keep optimistic..pessimism never got a person anywere..thats my advice..

I dont nessarily like you, or dislike you so it doesnt matter if you stay or not,but as a person I always say,never give up..especially not when it comes to things like this

Hell, I think you're doing better than I did after two months. I get frustrated myself sometimes but I've been having a decent run lately (not lately lately because I haven't gotten much sleep for a couple days, but before that I was getting at least near-lucid every night for a couple days in a row, which is good for me). I think I may be finding my rhythm, with any luck I'll have a breakthrough soon. So, stick with it, but OTOH a break might do you good.

You can quit "trying" if you like. I think its better just to adjust your expectations or try WILDs. As other said there are cycles of dream activity that are better than others.

Leave DV for a day (or 2) and im glad to see ppl care.

Well i will take a break for a while from the internet, but hey, LD dosn't take that much addtional time out my day. So ill keep trying.

I noticed i can't do Wilds very well, Because as long as my brain stays active and focused, i can't get to sleep. If i relax my mind wonders. and if i try and wake up very early and go back to bed focused, i lose concentration and bam.

Don't feel bad about WILD, it doesn't work for me either, MILD seems to have minimal effect also. All that really works for me is realizing the absurd. I'll post about that in Lucid experiences in a minute.

mmm, you and I have a lot to talk about then. I am an infinite fountain if incubus knowledge incubus is, hands down, the best group of musicians i've ever heard/seen/known of/etc..etc.. And more specifically, yes, Brandon Boyd is, in short, awesome!
I could go on and on and on...but I won't...

I thank you all for your concerns. But you know what a funny thing happend. A few days after i basically quit trying, I HAD A LUCID DREAM.



Can you beleive that, what were the odds. Try for weeks and fail. Quit tryin 4 a few days and win. The Ironey
