You should ask him how much he gets paid. Maybe you'll have a future in the psychicatric field, since you're obviously more advanced than he is!
Nah, I'd love to talk to a professional therapist about LD's, though. I'd love to hear, in depth, with someone in the psychiatric field has to say about them. The only thing I've used them for, that has anything to do with therapy, is learning to face fear of nightmares by actually staying in there and dealing with them.
Keep us updated on what your therapist has to say about LD's, the more you talk to him!

). He hadn't heard of lucid dreaming before! I explained what it is to him, and he was very interested, and seemed surprised that no one had told him about lucid dreaming before. We actually ended up talking about it for quite some time, and he said that my lucid dreams should be great to use to learn to deal with anxiety. I have actually been doing this some already, by facing every fear or unpleasantness that I meet in my lucid dreams, instead of avoiding and waking myself up. He told me that that was what he would have suggested, but he admitted to not knowing anything about lucid dreams, or using dreams as therapy in this way. Before I left, he told me that he would very much like to talk about this more during the next session.
That will be in two weeks.
