Hey...
Question... Mint tea. everybody says it works, and I have a hunch it might be a placebo... but anyways the point is, has anyone had any experience with OTHER kinds of teas that had the same effect on your dreams? Because I don't particularly care for mint tea, but I do like other kinds of tea. And plus, I can't find it at the grocery store that often, and we happen to be outI haven't experimented with it that much... It worked one time, but ANYWAY to the point: have other kinds of teas worked for you, in the same way mint tea has?
Thanks for your input![]()

I've always considered myself fairly immune to the placebo effect. Comes with having a high tolerance to a lot of things. I've been having a cup of mint tea between 9 PM and going to sleep, usually between 11-12:30, for about 5 days, and have noticed dreams lasting longer than usual. I'm also in the second week of taking B6, 100mg, around the same time. Could be either, or a combination. The only other thing that's entered my system in this time besides caffeine, nicotine, and food, was some Cuervo Gold, and I didn't dream worth a damn on Cuervo night. The best results were when I finished the tea right before gong to lie down. I don't know if it was the timing, or the week long build-up, as that was last night. See what tonight brings. Anyway, I would have been undecided on the placebo effect after one or two nights, but now, I don't think that's the case.
It's a combination of spearmint and peppermint I drink. If you don't like mint tea, this stuff will definitely repel you.
Mint tea doesn't really make me sleepy, but I suspect if you find a tea that does, that may help, as you can fall asleep with thoughts of LDs, instead of lying there until your mind wanders.
