      Shawndow, strangely I woke with you on my mind today. I don't think you should give up lucid dreaming. Remember to focus on God, friend. From reading a lot of your posts, I think we have a very similar view on spirituality and religion. Perhaps this thought will help you a little. You can use Lucid Dreaming to combat the shadows within you! Conquer your subconscious evils in your dreams! I fight demons sometimes in my dreams and I have to say, it is scary but it feels wonderful to witness firsthand those battles going on inside of you. You'll be in my prayers. Keep your chin up.

      lucidity should be used as a mirror to conquer one's own fears

      its brought me closer to god then anything

      (God: universe, nothing, you, me, eternity, whatever)

      to all those who struggle: do not fret, do not worry, it will come, lucidity will find you and kick u in the teeth! hehe, it was a shock to me, I was sooo young, and you may think that fortunate, but being 3 years old and semi lucid is dangerous, especially when ppl keep trying to kill you in your dreams and you only have the know how of a child! omg, so scary, but now...now it no longer matters happy
