Playing with other dream egos (a look at a conversation)

I love to get into heated debates with other dream egos.

      ------------------------

I always tell them, "You know...You're not real. You're a creation of my mind."

And they say, "Ya right man, you're crazy."

"No, really. You arn't real...this isn't real. Watch this." and I use my telekinesis (which I use a lot in-dream) and bring something to my hand, "You see...I control this universe. I am god here."

"No you're not. Just becuase you have telekinesis doesn't mean I don't exist you moron!" they would say.

"Since when can people do that?"

"Dude, we all know magicians can.."

"Are you insane...you don't exist, don't make me do this...." I would say holding my hand to thier face.

      "Do what..."

And then I would change them into someone else.

"What do you think now. Notice, I've changed you into someone else."

      "No you havn't."

      -----------------
Sometimes I get frustrated. And it usually ends in me using super-powers to crazy degrees. And most of the time, they still don't get it. But every now and then, I get a dream ego to seriously take a step back, and accept his or her fate. And every time, they are very sad. And then I become vry sad for them, sometimes I try to extend that portion of the dream, to extend the life of that particular dream ego...strange.

Yeah ive noticed that too, most dream characters seem unable to accept the fact that they aren't real.... so its better not to screw around with it, I think. A couple of people on here, I know, have probably did the same thing and have also realized this. Its my opinion of course, but you really should take the same morals you have in RL and apply them in your dreams... would you kill people in RL for no reason? If not, dont do it in your dreams either, you'll feel better for it.

One time I had a dream my dad was driving me somewhere. He acted so much like himself I wondered if I was having a shared dream. I asked him something like are you real? or is that really you? Strangely he said no and I knew it was true because otherwise he'd never say that.

Haha! In one dream, my dad was this cop who tried to kill me

Most of the conversations in my dreams are just normal ones, like when i talk to my friends trying to figure out what to do and such..

most of the time I dont talk to my dream characters because theyre either not there or I'm too scared they'll turn into creepy lunatics trying to kill me... :/

but a few times I've told my parents they weren't real (in the dream) and they didnt really care.

Well, technically they are real -- for you see, the mind is a telescope, not a kaleidescope: what you get is what you see...

Within their own dimension, DCs are very real. Imagine if aliens landed one day and kept trying to convince us that we weren't real -- wouldn't you be hurt and defensive? Even if they could change us all into sapient cumquats at will?

At first mine would look at me like I was crazy and usually walk off. Or they would warn me off what I was doing because it was not normal and I was fucking with shit I should not be. Then I met this old man and I took a different approach and he was sweet we just yarned. Then I just kept trying different approaches with different out comes. Most of the time my dream characters are responsive and interesting.

Anyone have a dream character approach you and talk telepathically acknowledging you are lucid? Now that was freaky......

      Peace Sensi.
