I think this was already discussed somewhere though I'm not sure
I think it was concluded that the caffeine and other stuff will keep you awake so it's pretty useless.
I was having a Red Bull for the first time the other day and saw it had 80% of daily B12 and 280% of B6 (or somthing to that effect) and wondered if it would help induce LDs, and the "crash" after like 4-5 hours would help me sleep. Any ideas?
By far, Mothra (in all of it's forms) is the worst kaiju of all time.

Not to mention it's not good for you anyway.
Theres only one way to find out.. try it out!![]()

I can't stand the flavor, so I've never had more than a sip of one. I can usually drink caffeine and soda and just pass out, so I will have to try drinking one to see...
Do you take B6 and 12 right before bed, or during the day? I was going to say I'd try it right before I went to sleep, until I realized that might be bad timing for more than just the caffeine rush...

I don't know how long the B vitamins stay in your system, I'd assume they last longer than caffeine. But you could always try drinking it in the afternoon, and then passing out later that night once the caffeine is out of your system.
Personally, I can't drink energy drinks anymore, I used to love the Amp energy drink, but it makes my heart race really fast now. Also I used to get caffeine withdrawals that weren't very fun. One time, I stayed up until 5 in the morning, and then drove from northern VT to cape cod for chicken wings with my friend, then hung out with some girl I knew down there until 7 pm and then drove back. On the drive back I must've had at least 5 energy drinks to keep me awake because on the drive down, I fell asleep for a split second, but I felt it when I fell asleep and woke myself up, and I almost swerved into a motorcycle cop. That definitely gets the adrenaline going![]()

Caffeine can also help lucidity. At moderate amounts, it eliminates the deeper stages of sleep, but not REM: this makes you sleep lighter. Hence you can be more aware of awakenings for a DEILD/dream chaining, and you are able to maitain awareness, easier when trying to WIld.
Caffeine causes crashes, that might be useful for WILDs or WBTB. Maybe drink one during a WBTB, lots of people swear by coke or pepsi for WBTB, so Redbull should work too. With the B vitamins in it, it should work better than soda.
I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you were really physically exhausted and wanted to WILD + it was in your WBTB
Anyways now for my little story of how caffeine can effect you...
it was 1 week ago and I was at a LAN party, I had had 4 bottles of V(same-ish caffeine amount as 4 Red Bulls) and it toke me about 4 hours to fall asleepalso note that I have 1 caffeinated drink per week so the 4 in one day probably wasn't the best idea
.....
Well now for my conclusion, it probably wont be effective to drink Red Bull right before bed as it'll keep you awake, try drinking it in the middle of the day and the B vitamins might stay in your system during sleep and hopefully the caffeine won't be in your system while you try to sleep..
Anyways I reckon if you could isolate the caffeine out of Red Bull, so it won't keep you awake, it might be beneficial but I wouldn't recommend trying it..![]()
