I sort of know what you mean, thouge i maybe dont have the right answer.
Just living the moment of a lucid dream is wonderfull. And when you wake up the day is already saved. But then some days later, when thinking back on the dream and on the moment you were lucid, its just like a vast memory, without the same energetic entusiashm. Ive even taken myself in thinking that it wasnt that realisticly great. Like it wasnt "real". But then i think at how realistic i felt it was there and i believe in what i experienced.
Ive understood it like this, by experience and after read others comments, that its difficult to bring mental "things" from the dream world to the waking world or waking world to dream world. When in a dream, to try to be logic, or to remember what you did in the waking life the day before is very hard. Its almost like trying to remember what happend in a dream 2 hours after you stood up, after not paying any notice to the dream. But offcourse this can be trained. Many oneironauts can jump from one side to the other almost instantly without loss of the waking or dream conscioussness.
For them its like winning the jackpot and receiving the whole price, while for an beginner its like just receiving 1/10 of the price.
So i guess it has to do with the memory of the experience.
And with practice in lucid dreams and remembering dreams upon waking, wired neuro connections in the brain will be more efficient between the two states. Maybe it will be like remembering what happend two minutes ago in the waking life after a while![]()
