I would agree except that it is also referred to as the subconscious and some psychologist don’t even refer to it as being unconscious.

Yes, but it does seem to know a Hell of a lot about us. I suspect even our Destiny. Why doesn't it just say whats goin on. Or is it fighting its own battles............i suspect it is. Why is it so Secretive. I suspect it is hiding from the Universal thoughts of Others !!!. ie(Office Politics, 'Oneupmanship' etc. If we all shared no-one would be living in Boca-Raton.

by un-conscious what do you mean?Do mean the sub-conscious?Or do mean the collective un-conscious?

I think he just means the internal portion of our personality that isn't thinking or being conscious at the moment.....our selves have the knowledge of the world inside of us.

Never thought of higher self knowing our destiny, like, knowing the future? That's really hard to comprehend.

Unconscious and Subconscious are two totally seperate mind states.
Unconsciousness rarely happens except for deep deep sleep. Where only delta waves are present.
Subconscious is not Consciousness or Unconsciousness, nor are these three states of consciousness the total of all brain wave states. It is just a sweeping generalization.

There are four types of brain waves.
Alpha
Beta
Theta
Delta
The Subconscious is always working, however, Beta Waves allow the bridge between Subconsioucness and Consciousness. Think of the subconsciousness of all the workers in the bottom deck of the Cruise Liner. Running checks on all the engines operating the electrical systems, monitoring safety systems, keeping things in check. The consciousness would be all the people on the deck of the boat, sun tanning, playing, swimming, partying. Reaping the benefits of the people on the lower decks supporting the medium for those on the upper decks....
All this comes back to brainwaves as well. Each brain wave can have a degree of intensity. Differnt combinations power different states of mind.
For example.

I see life as a timeout. The purpose of living is to learn our lesson. Once we learn, we can come out of timeout (i.e. die). The lesson will be better retained if the individual actually experiences it for themself.

For example, suppose I show you some pictures of a city, and also where it's located on the map. That may not mean much to you. If you are taken to this city and spend a week there, it should be much more powerful.

I do think the subconscious is related to the Higher Self, but it's only purpose is to make sure we don't get lost on our path of discovery. It would be meaningless if we all started at the finish.
