If you know you are dreaming at one point, even for a second, it was lucid.
So you did have a lucid.Congrats![]()
Okay, so I have this dream where I'm in my schools hallway like 5 sec after telling my mom I'm not going to school, and falling back asleep. (have mono)
Anyways so I'm like waitttt a minute "Did i go to school?!" and then I try to remember if I did and remember telling my mom I'm not going and then I realized I must be dreaming! BAM the whole dream scene swirls into blackness and there's this odd pulsing plus-sign/cross looking thing that I cant look away from and I kept trying to remember what to do after getting lucid and I could feel like something was tugging at me and it almost felt like I was coming out of my own body? Then I think I lost my lucidity because I don't remember what happened after that.
I was so close too! Though I do remember the dream that happened after that half-lucid dream. Actually weird thing is after that lucid episode I remembered like 5 dreams I had in ONE night! They were all insanely long and complicated...weirdest thing is that they all sucked I was either being chased or dying
Why don't I ever remember GOOD dreams T^T anyways was that an almost-lucid dream? I'm worried I just dreamed I was lucid...

If you know you are dreaming at one point, even for a second, it was lucid.

Please try to use proper grammar and punctuation in your posts. It is very difficult to read things written this way.
I cleaned it up for readability.

Technically, having a lucid dream means knowing that you are dreaming within the dream.
On that definition, yes, I'd say you had a lucid dream.
I saw an old thread recently though, that discussed the idea of lucid dreaming being an illusion - that you are just dreaming of being lucid. Personally, I disagree since it clashes with my own experience though.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
I really doubt that too since when I become lucid I become so much more aware of what's happening around me and I can remember RL and completely understand that it's a dream. I am as consious as I am right now in my lucid dreams and I can think of stuff that I have told my self in RL. Like when I start flying then I suddently remember "didn't I tell my self that I was gonna try <random thing>" and "I really hope I won't wake up" etc.
I really doubt that I would be that aware of the real world if it was just a normal dream about being lucid.
