      It looks like what you're really suggesting here is dream incubation. If the person focuses their intent on a particular problem they're having, they will proceed to dream about it. If you are one to believe the Freud philosophy (dreams being a reflection of what is happening in our lives and lurking in our subconcious) that we can then solve our issues by interpreting them. Makes sense, IF you believe in dreams being as such (which I think most of us do here).

      Thanks for the mention and link here to the forum! Only thing I would have done is go into (very briefly) what lucid dreaming was - at least a definition. You mentioned it at the very begining, then never referenced it again. Those who don't really know what it is and didn't want to follow the links might be a little lost. Besides, I believe problem solving in dreams is way more effective if you're lucid in them.
