I think your best bet would be to try and incubate a dream in which you went to bed. The Focus Attention Technique (FAT) might be a good method to trigger a dream in which you went to sleep. I will have to try this out and report what happens. I think its probably different for all people, some people when they went to sleep in dreams would probably have an FA but I imagine quite a few others would start dreaming within the dream and therefore just switch scenario.
