Cheese hasn't ever really enhanced my lucid dreams, I think. Although cheese is good!
I find wine works very well for me the best.

I have done a search on the word 'cheese' in the threads and was suprised to find that only two instances of the word occuring. I can almost guarantee that if I have cheese before sleeping I will have a LD. I find that strong cheese is best and as I love Stilton, St.Agur etc, I have extremely vivid and lucid dreams.
I can remember one occasion where I spent the entire dream going around the environment I was in testing everything for texture, smell and weight. It was all absolutely the same as real life.
Try it, it may work for you too.
If you can keep your head when those around are losing theirs, you probably haven't got the faintest idea of what's going on.

If you read in another thread and quite a few others there is actually a lot of talk about the vitamine B-6, aspirin, and...MILK!
I dont remember who but he deffinately deserves some credit for all the research he did on how milk helps you dream.
Milk and cheese DO have something in common, right?

I always have cheese and wine in the evening before bed. Doesn't seem to do it for me.
Oh well, I guess you can't have everything!
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

How much cheese should I be eating? Had a bit of American before I went to sleep last night; I dreamed pretty vividly (not lucidly) but that could be a coincidence.

I had the rare phenomena (for me) of dreaming and being aware of my own body in bed at the same time too.
So, cheese definately does it for me!

Aahhhhh, the power of cheese....

Ok, I have to say that I eat crackers and cheese just about every day (nice diet, eh?) and it has had no effect on my dreaming whatsoever.
But I do love cheese! 'specially sharp cheddar. Mmmmmm... cheese....![]()

I find your lack of faith disturbing...
Two nights in a row I've eaten cheese and had very intense dreams. Could be a coincidence, but I'm happy for any excuse to eat cheese.![]()

Well, no dreams last night despite Stilton and a few glasses of Port.
The reason? Bloody November 5th, that's why. (For you guys over the pond, it's kinda like your July 4th) so loads of fireworks, explosions and God knows what 'til the early hours. I didn't sleep much at all.
Good news is, our government is going to ban all sales of fireworks to private in'duh'viduals in the New Year. Good thing too.
