Yeah, I don't think it usually works very well to try to "force" your way into a dream. If you feel that you're almost there, just relax and let the dream form naturally. That has worked for me in the past.
Last night I woke from a dream and did MILD. I wasn't visuaulizing anything, just telling myself I would recognize the dream state... I found myself driving a car and the car starts to fly, at this point I feel I am "driving into a dream". I also feel like I have control of this and feel that I was trying to hasten the entery into the dream. At this point I awoken. Do you think I should of just went with the flow instead of trying to rush it or what??? This happened twice in the same night.
