Some people say its possible, and I think it might be. But it would be much more difficult. If you mean more of with an Afternoon nap, like say your laying there, and start to try to WILD, there are many people who can WILD during an afternoon nap if their surroundings are quiet and they can sufficiently relax.
I think the main problem with doing it though, is maintaining the vividness of it. If you try to WILD during the afternoon, and your mostly rested, then you might not have as deep of a state of relaxation. You might more just go through the experience of visualizing yourself elsewhere, in a way thats similar to a Lucid Dream, but different in the sense that your experiences might seem more dulled compared to if you do one during the night after you wake up.
