      Failed reality check?!?!?!

OK, so last night i was having a dream and i woke up and preformed my 3 reality checks (nose pinch, finger thru palm and trying to levatate something like my cell phone). The reality checks PASSED!!! i couldnt breathe, couldn't push my finger through my hand and couldn't use telekinesis. then i woke up and was like "SHIT why did they work??? i was actually dreaming!!!" has anyone had this happen to them? or does anyone know how to make sure your reality checks work every time? i've had them work when i've remembered, and the telekinesis one is the best for me, as a dreamsign for me is having that ability, and it usually isn't functioning right so i realize i don't normally have it and become lucid! thanks! =]

Huh weird maybe your mind is thinking they will not work so they didn't always believe they will work but no this hasn't happened to me before I will have to look into this
If you want to check out my checklist click right HERE

If a man believes his dream is his reality when he wakes up is this now his dream or does he believe he hadn't been dreaming at all?

Sometimes I can't breath when I try the nose pinch, but the feeling of building pressure only occurs when i'm awake. You could try looking for that next time instead.

RC will sometimes not work, I guess. Most will work for you and just once in a while screw up, while some won't work at all. For instance, I once tried covering my eyes with my palms to see if I could see through them and I couldn't. Good thing I also performed a casual text RC, else I would've wasted a perfectly good WILD.
To truly know someone is to have seen through their eyes while they were dreaming.

PM me if you want to get acquainted. Looks like adoption's not an option.

This possibility is why I don't plan on bothering with traditional RCs.

It makes much more sense to me that the most important RC is simply to stop, look around you, and to analyze your circumstances for coherency - does it make sense that I'm in this environment? What happened just before now? Is anything out of place, out of the ordinary? Takes less than a minute, entirely a mental process.
