Aeron, remember this: To be lucid, means to be aware that you're dreaming. Control is something else
You did what people call dreamchaining and used it to get lucid. It's like a WILD, but without the long relaxation process and such![]()
I guess this is consider a wild. but what i did was, i woke up for like 45 seconds then was like, hey, i should try wild. so i rememeberd a dream i had that night, morphed back into it, and was somewhat lucid for like 30 seconds. it was nice i guess, but i felt out of control at the same time so i only think i achieved partial lucididty

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had

Yep, he's right, a lucid dream is nothing more than a dream in which you know you are dreaming. Congrats!
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

yea i was pretty happy about it. i've been trying for like a month. i was a bit disappointed i woke up so fast, but that didn't keep me from cheering![]()
don't worry about it. Just be happy you got your first LD. Congratulate yourself. It is expected that your first few LDs will be like that, but with practice comes stability. If you work at it consistenly, then you will start lasting a little longer; long enough to try stability techniques. Stability comes with experience.
