Last night, i did an RC. I remember it NOT working. It was a nose rc.
Next dream. I was on a bus, telling my friend how my DREAM i did an RC and failed to become lucid. I even demonstrated.
Next dream. Some random shit.
Okay so i believe i somehow know its a dream but im not becoming fully lucid. Tips to realize im dreaming. Thanks.

Maybe the nose plug RC isn't for you? Either that, or you've done the RC so often in real life, you neglect to reflect upon its significance each time.
Try doing multiple RC's at a time (it's what I do). Like, I'll press my hand against glass, and look at my fingers. Or push a finger against my palm, and try again on the back of my hand. Doing multiple reality checks may help you to realize their purpose, as they take more effort than a single check would.

Some RC's only work once for some people, my Dad for instance, he did the "rubber hand" test (pushing one finger through the palm of the other) and the first time it worked just fine, went right through just like rubba.. then the next 3 times he used that RC everything was normal, nothing wonky. After I explained to him more and different ones, he tried different RC's in future. Next LD he tried jumping up, he said he just came back down to earth like normal the first 3 times he used that RC, but he also said that he suspected in his dream that he was getting false results & kept on trying, the 4th time he floated off. So persistence is key here I think. His 1st LD was brief and VERY unnerving, he said he leapt out of bed like he'd been shocked, next time not so scary, but he still couldn't accomplish any of his self-appointed tasks. 3rd LD he actually managed to look at what he was wearing (instead of finding a mirror) but still didn't have time or prescence to check what was in his pockets (#1 task for him). He's lucky, he gets the same signal nearly everytime, either his keys are lost or he can't find his car, then the jig is up for him, he starts RC'ing relentlessly.

The nose pinch should work because breathing is the one thing you can still control while dreaming.
I've had problems before where I did RCs, and actually decided not to continue being lucid... that's just messed up!
