wow gr8 technique!
i shuld try it tonight![]()
An interesting combination of methods to induce lucid dreaming.
I put all ideas from other people together to make a pretty good
induction technique, it involves doing things during the day also.
At 3 PM, drink about 500 mg of coffee(2-3 strong cups) and exhert
yourself physically(biking, swimming, running, weight lifting) for
an 30 minutes- 120 minutes. (120 is recommended) So by the time
it is 8 oclock(PM) you will be exhausted, the coffee will have worn
off, leaving you very very tired. Stay up until you are VERY tired
after the physical exertion, Ill be asleep by 11.
Then use WBTB, and upon waking up, use MILD.
This is very useful and how I have gotten all of my lucid dreams(only 3, but yet very close together.)

I like the sound of this. I'll definitely try this, just with coke instead of coffee![]()
If I were anybody else, I wouldn't try this technique very oftenor you'll end up collapsing from exhaustion.. or something bad.

What! You want someone to run for 5 hours in the middle of the night! Where should we run! I bet the biggest problem would be to run from the cop, they see you running they start following you, they start following you you run faster, you run faster they start the sirens and before you know it you end up at the morning news with a chopper cam haunting your ass yelling "This is only a dream*cry cry cry*"![]()

Middle of the day. 3pm, not 3am. I thought he was saying the middle of the night, at first, but then I realised.![]()

im too lazy to try that![]()
lol turkeh, yea you might actually get fit!...
i am too lazy to try this... sorry... i also have no caffinated beverages like soda, (and no, i am not drinking coffee, its NASTY)
i would think WBTB would work better if you werent as tired, because i have tried sometimes, and i am just too tired to make an effort to enter an LD like that...

this is good that you have found a set of methods that help you obtain your lucidity. to bad this doesn't work for everyone. i can't have the caffiene and i'm pregnant, so i don't think i'll be excerting myself anymore than i have to already or run from any chopper cams that are hunting my ass down, lol. but that's the key-we all have to find our own methods to have LD's. this is good for you because the more you get used to these steps, the easier lucidity will be for you to achieve. and i think it's great that you have shared what has worked for you so far. great job!![]()
...we barely have time to react, let alone to rehearse, and i don't think i'm any better than you, but i don't think i'm any worse...~anni
exercising is great for dreams period. I can't say I've had more LDs but I've had alot more vivid dreams and recall them alot more often ever since I started running. I try to set a new personal best every week. The real reason for my lack of LDs is not trying that hard given other things in my life. Thanks for the tip

No problem, just something I developed over a couple weeks. Eh, maybe I actually will write a tutorial, but it could be too similar to everything else, not a lot of uniqueness to it.
hey, this has been my routine for about three years. and i rarely, meaning about once or twice a month remember my dreams. i know i talk in my sleep, and when i do remember them the dreams are very interesting.
i have just came upon this site a couple days ago and have been reading. i like how this forum is held together and hope to begin learning techniques to lucid dream, as well as gain knowledge in this area.
back to the point, i excercise daily at the gym and run, and do not sleep until i am very tired. i really dont like sleeping or eating, i dont enjoy giving into them, but lately i have to do these things to grow, and its been working. but i still wait til im reallly tired, and dont remember dreams. i even take vivarin(200mg caff) before i work out to boost my energy levels.
i am a college student, so after i work out, which is about 11pm, i just stay up til like 5am and read on the net, play poker, do misc shit just cuz i dont want to sleep, i feel it wastes my time although i understand the importance of it. sometimes when i have class at 740 i just stay up til like 10 and i am even more exhausted, however i feel more alert and happy. i do this at least twice a week, i dont know how healthy it is so im changing that morning class.
anyways, i think it will be a rough journey for me to finally get to the LD state, but i am willing to give some time and practice. anyways thats my input thanks for reading cya.![]()
if your planning on making a tutorial, it should include more things to try. It could be a lifestyle adjustment tutorial.
such as along with all of that you can add that you should take 100 mg of B6 before sleep, and stay up for 30 mins minimum for a WBTB
its just too little info for a tutorial, needs more research on what kind of lifestyle/routine will attract most LDs
maybe a lab experiment is called for?
I was just actually thinking the same thing. Lets set up a research topic for it.
