I've just thought of something the other day while I was ImageStreaming (www.yahoogroups.com/group/imagestream & winwenger.com). I thought of a nifty device that could be constructed to reinforce reality checks:
A modified digital watch with a piezo electric transducer hooked to the alarm that would administer a small harmless shock every 1/2 hour or every hour. When this small shock is felt you simply would have to perform a reality check.
Take a look here to check out the homemade LD dreammask. Schematics included. http://brindefalk.solarbotics.net/kvasar/kvasar.html
Now what I am thinking of is to add a piezo electric transducer to the same circuit that the leds are on, so this way when you start to dream you are getting the same shock that causes you to perform your reality checks.
Any takers on this one (I suck at electronics)

Life is like a rainbow, if you don't stop to look you'll never know it was there.

Interresting idea. However to what part of the body do you think the electric shock should be given? Also might the electric shock be able to wake you up if it is strong enough to be clearly felt?

Keith Hearne was using electric shocks as a cue to stimulate LD's back in the 80's. Google his name and you'll find the info.
