Um, your problem is probably your extreme lack of sleep.
So, last night I did an attempt at a WILD. It was probably the worst timing ( i didn't sleep for 36 hours), but i decided to have a go at it anyways. I laid in bed for a while, and started to count my breathing. I found that counting was getting too distracting, so just stopped and started to focus on the 'images'. I knew they weren't there, and it almost seemed like the small little floating lights and shapes were just my imagination.
As the time progressed, I started to lose all feeling to my body. The only thing i felt was my breathing and the sheet moving as my torso went up when i breathed in and out. I started to have weird sensations and thoughts. At first it was bugging me. My right hand at first was feeling weird. I couldn't tell if it was palm up or palm down, and I had no sense of it.
A few minutes later the same effect moved to my left leg. I couldnt tell if it was thigh up or down, as weird as it sounds.
After that, I remember nothing. I was completely awake mentally and then poof, it was all gone and I woke up.
Any tips to remaining mentally awake? I am not sure how I just lost mental awareness, especially with the loud and violent buzzing going on.

Um, your problem is probably your extreme lack of sleep.
