Thread: Lucid Audio dreams

interesting, ive never experienced that, it sounds fun though!

I've had this a couple of times, fun experience. One time I was in class actually and felt myself drifting off, I was trying to stay awake as much as I possibly could but my eyelids felt so heavy, suddenly I fell asleep for probably not more then 10 seconds and suddenly I was in a concert, really really loud as hell noise/rock band was playing and screaming, I could also see strobe lights everywhere, it was quite cool. I remember I went home from school wanting to form a hardcore band or something.
But then I've had it lot's of other times, mostly nice sounds, atmosphere. I haven't had alot of voices. What bugs me the most about this though is that I can never remember these sounds or songs, which often sounds so good and sweet. But I guess at least it's good while it lasts

Hope you have more of these. It's cool that you can control them, that barely happens to me. More that they just come in whole pieces, quite epic sometimes though. Strange...extremely fun!

It sounds like your just getting auditory hallucinations. It's very common. It happens to me all the time too. It's just a part of being in the hypnagogic stage of sleep. You should be able to get images too. Just try and go with it, it's fun. I love that kind of stuff.

When I'm not lucid sometimes I just hear someone going on a huge rant, almost as if I left my T.V on and was just hearing some guy talking, saying all this stuff, then when I realize I'm dreaming I realize the words my mind was putting together to make the babbling weren't even making sense LOL! But when I become lucid its so much fun, I can control what I hear and experiment with all these awesome and weird sounds and even make music sometimes. Has this ever happened to you? Where you were just Audio Lucid?

Rofl, I used to do this all the time when I fell asleep in front of the TV and when I'd fall asleep on long car rides listening to the radio. You wake up from the 'audio dream' and hear the radio and think, "hey what the f*ck I was just dreaming of this!". Quite fun and surreal. I've never been lucid doing it though.
