Music when going to sleep
I was just wondering if it is best to have pretty much absolute silence when going to sleep, if you were going to try and have a HIT. I think the furthest that I've made it without losing consciousness was when I have been listening to music. I guess it just seems that it's easier to focus more on what I'm seeing, without my mind wandering off because I'm paying attention to the music, if that makes sense. I've been trying different things now for a few weeks now, with no luck so far, but I think I would like to try and continue this method. So pretty much I am just looking for feeback on this. Thanks in advance.

What Phoenelai and I are trying to do is resonate the sleeping brain using pulsed "carrier' waves such as drones. However, listening to tuneful music while falling asleep may keep you awake and make it easier to WILD. It's possible to modulate music with pulses just like modulating drones, so that may be something to explore later.
By the way, how do you like my latest RC (see avatar). If you can do this, you are dreaming.

I don't know about music going to sleep, but I have heard that inducing HI is much easier with music and produces great effects in general.
