      My brother.

My brother had some sleeping trouble a few months ago so I gave him a cd with my lucid dreaming tape on it and I called it a tape to make you fall asleep faster =P. Somehow he ended up looking up lucid dreaming online and one day a few months later, while playing chess he brought it up. He was like, " Hey you know i can wake myself up when im sleeping, can you?".

It was a bit shocking and i was like, " uh sure, when its a pretty scary dream I suppose."

Anyway, then he said "Yea and i dont have to do math in my sleep to do it either.."

This was the strangest thing I had ever heard, then I realised that was my RC technique (one of them) and one that is on a few websites online. Thats crazy! I guess he doesn't realise the whole idea of Lucid Dreaming. Im going to tell him next time i get a chance, that when he wants to wake up during a dream, to NOT wake up.. See if I can teach him to LD naturally, and that way he wont have to go through the trouble like me!

I use to be able to realise I was dreaming a lot, but the initial reaction is to wake up. I never thought of staying in. It is easiest with nightmares, but I haven't had a nightmare in over 3 years *sigh*.

Anyway, wanted to share my story including a few lucidity techniques!!

Lucid dreaming is such a tauntingly simple thing to attain...

It almost seems unfair when the natural LD'ers seem so indifferent, while us learners have to use our breathing and 61 point techniques just to get there.

I used to be able to realize I was dreaming ALLL THE TIME when I was young and immediately would wake myself up. It's not that easy anymore

Same, like nearly every dream i would know i was dreaming and start to either get bored or to wake up! Now it really pisses me off that i cant. Also i dont have nighmares anymore, i used to get one everynight at primary school but that was because i got bullied
And damn those natural LDers, i used to be one before i knew what a Lucid dream was, its all to do with my subconscience i suppose. That stupid son-of-a-bitch Nadim (i gave it a name a few days ago, dont ask why its supposed to help!) always stops me from having fun in my LDs - when i finally get them!
