      My Epic Fail

So I was having a non-lucid dream the other night when one of the DCs came up to me and said, "Oh hi, I wish my religion was a parallel chromatic", which naturally made me think Oh, I'm dreaming. thinking I was about to go lucid.

So at this point I do a reality check and try to push my index finger through the palm of my other hand, and my finger successfully goes through my hand like it was putty. Cue lucidity...

But no , my dream self just went "woah! That's awesome", and carried on talking to the dream character without ever going lucid.

Sometimes when doing the jump check, I'll hover, and be all "This can only mean one thing... Shweet! I have superpowers!"

haha, I lost lucidity because of flying in my first lucid; I was so happy that I could do it that I forgot I was dreaming and went lucid again later only to realise what I had done. That made me angry and it woke me up lol.

It happens. But, remember that you did realize that you were dreaming and to do a reality check - it means progress is being made!

Hey, if it makes you feel, I've had people come up to me and tell me im dreaming. And say ok...and move on, and then wake up and kick myself.

My epic fail is slacking off on my dream journal. I've remembered a total of 3 dreams in the past 10 days. And they were all from one night. Having dreams and not being lucid is better than not remembering any of your dreams.
