Itches go away. Suck it up and ignore it.

everytime i try to wild i get relaxed easy but 5 minutes later itches start to pop up here and there, then suddenly id give in and scratch, after that im thinkin "fuck it" and i go to sleep.
in your wildest dreams you couldn't picture a bogan like me, haha
Itches go away. Suck it up and ignore it.

I have the same problem. Actually, first I'll be hot, then I push the covers off and I'm cold. I can't get in a comfortable position. The wrinkles in my pillow-case bother me. My toe or something starts randomly hurting. Suddenly I can hear my heart-beat and my breathing is really loud. My thoughts wander and I feel really awake. And of course the itches.
But: I still try, beause one of good three things can happen:
1) Rarely, very rarely, I actually succeed at WILD.
2) I fall asleep and have a DILD or at least a vivid regular dream.
3) Solutions to problems that seemed really complicated the day before just pop into my head; like whole ideas that I just couldn't seem to come up with appear fully-formed, as I'm trying to count and have HI.
So it is still worth trying.

i agree with ataraxis.
the first time i WILDed it itched in the beginning. so just keep counting

If you start to itch, concentrate on something else. It's hard, but it pays off in the end. *balances hands* Scratch itch....or LD?

I have the same itch problem, and I start concentrating on not thinking about it, but I am actually thinking about, and because I am thinking about itching, I get and itch in another place, and then another and then just like delta I am like "fuck this good night"

You can still scratch and then have a WILD. Just do it quickly, while keeping your eyes closed and try not to think about it much! It is not necessary for everyone to lay perfectly still for 1 or 2 hours to have a WILD. Hell, the last time I had one, I turned over maybe 4-5 times or maybe more.

The same thing happen's to me! Just last night I was wondering why I alway's
get all itchy just when I am trying to Wild. It doesn't happen durring the day!
And also, I can never stay in a wild for more than a moment or two.
I can slide into a dream fully aware almost every night, at least when ever
I can keep my thought's from wandering. but I just look around a little bit,
then slide back awake. I don't even count these as lucid Dream's.
anyone have any advise on how to stay in it?

I also have this problem, i got a good bit of advice which i took, don't bother with WILDing for the moment since it is a hard technique to perfect and itches and scratches are only the tip of the iceberg, just try another induction technique, theres plenty to choose from
